Let's stop and think for a second, what gives a man the urge to hit a woman? I just got home from a party and some chick was getting in this dudes face, and he was pretty drunk. He said he had no problem knocking a bitch out. Me and my buddy just looked at each other and knew what would happen if he did. The chicks boyfriend just sat there because he didn't want to crash the party. Well she sat down and the guy kept spewing stupid shit from his mouth. The only person who tried to keep him calm was another guy a lot bigger than him but had too soft a demeanor to actually fight.

We all hopped in her boyfriends truck and went to the gas station for some smokes, he was pissed and wanted to go back. My buddy got a few packs and handed him one, telling him to calm down. After that we all left.

What would you do in a situation like that?

What urges a man to hit a woman? The same thing that urges him to hit a man.

Well that's a terrible thing, but the truth is, sometimes it is alright to hit a women - in extreme times of course, like if she's hitting you herself and you can't defend yourself without lashing back, then a push/shove or a hit will be enough to warn her that she can't hit you without thinking you won't defend yourself properly.

Obviously there is a difference between hitting a girl and beating up a girl, and the latter well it's just thugish and wrong to do, but yeah sometimes the woman just needs a physical reinforcement when she refuses to listen verbally.

The real question is, why wasn't that bitch in the kitchen or down on her knees suckin some dick? I inagine if she had done that to begin with the conflict could've been avoided.

Only ass holes with 0 respect resort to such a thing as to hit a women, it is only if that person has done something so bad they absolutely deserve it that it should ever occur and only a slap, never a hit unless they actually start trying to punch you. Then is the only time to subdue the person by any means necessary. And even then unless your completely fucking weak you should easily be able to do so with out even throwing a punch. I suggest a forceful bear hug that completely immobilize her. (yes it does work)

OK, since Gagsy's a woman, and she endorses a man's right to hit women when they're out of line, I say we should assert our rights as men and keep our women in the kitchen, making us sammiches, lest they get a backhand slap and a golf club to the head...

In all seriousness here, I have to respond to what Timmy said earlier in this thread.

Women who take advantage of the rule that men can't hit girls back are simply stupid and endangering themselves. They may abuse a boyfriend or husband in this manner for this reason, and then that's when the boyfriend/husband cracks, and then its back in a flurry of rage. This would explain many cases of domestic violence.

That's why I would say that women should know of the rule, but shouldn't abuse it, as they may pick a fight with a man who doesn't very much care for that rule, and hits back, or worse. For those women who do that, they had it coming...

I treat hitting a woman like everyone else. If they piss me off large enough to warrent me hitting them, man or woman, I will.

Now, if a girl wants to be treated like a man, then I'll oblige them by giving the good and the bad.

I find it extremely stupid how women get away with this bullshit. As all you know women rights are advancing throughout the ages, and these super feminists are fighting for equality more. Now if they want to be on an equal footing with men, punch me, I punch you back. Simple as that.

Well, I would let him know that I have no problem knocking a guy out that's acting like an asshole. If he continued, I would prove it to him.

I have no more problems hitting a woman than I would a man. I wouldn't hit a man, either, but hey, women aren't special. They don't deserve to not be hit just because they have tits. They deserve to not be hit because no one deserves to be hit.

If a woman's attacking me, though, fuck her, I'm punching the bitch out just as quickly as I would a man.

I bumped into a chick from my old school on the street one, and she started talking shit to me. I talked some better, and she got into my face, waving her arms and shit. I was alone, and she was with a decent sized group. As soon as she said anything about jumping me, I punched her in the fucking nose. Needless to say they tried to jump me, but it didn't work out so well.

Many times my friends have gotten violent with their girls, and even a couple times my Dad got physical with my Mom. Every single time I've been in the prescence of male on female violance I've reacted kind of insanely. Most times a little opposition cows the aggressor, but it's come to serious blows. It is what it is though.
