Not that I know of, but I wouldn't treat or look at them differently.

Pheromones? I doubt I EVER got hard from smelling a woman. I always got hard by seeing the woman naked or if the woman did something that I like a lot. Sure smell could attract people together, but that is not always the case. The point you made there about "population thinning" is hardly logical. If nature truly wanted to make some men/women not reproduce, why not just make them sterile instead of them being attracted to the same sex? That's like saying you should take a 100 lb hammer to knock in one small screw.

Think of the gay gene as nature's way of population control without actually having to kill anyone - gays don't reproduce - and thus the population is thinned - the bigger the population - the more gays there are. Perhaps if you really thought your reasonings through instead of just skewing your thoughts into automatically making you right you might have a more in-depth perspective on things.

So therefore they are attracted to men? That doesn't make any sense at all. Nature already has natural ways of reducing population. It's ludicrous to think that being gay is a population control device. For instance, if nature gives a gay gene in order to control population then why aren't there gay animals? Why haven't, in all of recorded history, there ever been sightings a truly gay animal? If nature had this gene then why only humans? There are no other genes that we have that another species doesn't. Nature has a completely different way of handling species control. If you've ever taken HS biology then you would already know that when a species grows to large that their natural predators find it easier to capture prey and suddenly predator population goes up and balances out the prey population. Also, if a top predator's population becomes so large than a disease will occur that balances it back out. And because there are so many of them it will spread with ease. This has occurred before in human history. Nature has it's own way of handling population. This point has been tossed out the window.

Secondly - sexual attractino is a completely chemical thing - meaning that if you like women - the simple smell of pheremones coming off them will make you hard - do you get hard off the pheremones that come off of men? If you are 100% heterosexual then no - we as gay people however DO get hard from the pheremones of men - our bodies react without us even having any control over it- thus we really DON'T have a choice in the matter- we can only choose how to react to it.

Yes, it is completely chemical. However, there are certain ways to trick the body, especially from a young age. For instance, there are illusionists out in the world that can make you feel as if you're falling. Now you aren't actually falling it is just a trick but your body believes it's falling so it will act as if it is preparing for an impact because your brain has tricked your body. Your muscles will tense, your heart will beat fast and your psychological thinking is that you will be harmed very soon, this will activate your Adrenaline. But it's just a trick. Your not actually in danger.
The same thing can be applied to being gay, if you were to convince your self you are gay than your body will start to become attracted to whomever you decide to become attracted to. And if you are young and your body is just developing and then your mind could easily deceive your body because it doesn't know what to do with its self.
It is quite simple actually, you see the mind controls the body and the chemicals that that it distributes. Now if you could trick the mind into releasing chemicals from the body such as pheromones you could therefore choose who you are attracted to. Of course this would be heavy shit and you have to be completely in the belief that you are gay in order to do it. But it is very possible to do so. The mind is a super powered machine and if you can fuck with it yo u can get your self to do just about anything.

Cologne works the same way -I personally can't wear certain types of colognes because they make me go nuts chemically wise - the cologne test is also a great indicator to find out if a person is gay.

Once again, tricking yourself. Of course its all on a subconscious level so you have no idea that it's happening.

Also family upbringings have nothing to do with it - people raised in extremely hateful gay upbringings are gay as well as those that are raised in liberal ones.

Actually some one who is born and raised in a gay hating community actually have a better chance of being gay than by actually gay communities such as San Fransisco. Because of all the vibes of being gay whether good or bad it begins to make the person curious, makes them subconsciously want to try it even if they might get harmed for it. It is because of this that they become closeted homos because they are curious but know of course the consequences of being so. I very seriously doubt a person raised in a place where there was no homosexuality or even mention of it would ever be gay because there is nothing there to manipulate them.

also don't you always find it amusing that those that believe that sexuality is a choice are always, ALWAYS the men that like women, or women. I say this because there might be some bi ones too - but they're prolly smart enough to realize this within themselves and not come to that ascertension.

Not really, just mere coincidence I suppose. I'm sure there are gays who have chosen to be so. And would admit it.

Also almost all gay men are hot enough to get truckloads of women without even trying - so why CHOOSE to be gay? We'd have a better time with being straight than you would if it could be a choice.

Why choose to anything? We choose what we want and because you want men than you will choose them and not women. You decide to turn yourself off of women, I highly doubt a any male stripper could turn on a nun, I highly doubt any old hooker could turn on a monk or the Pope. They decided to turn away from their natural counter parts because they sought other things and they had strong will power. Regardless, there is obviously no changing you no matter what happens so this is tiresome and pointless. Good day.

Not true. All the traits and tendencies that get passed on are the ones that happen to exist in a species by the time they are able to mate and survive birth. That's all there is to it. I believe, in this model of existence theory, this can justify the perpetuated tendency in some human beings to develop sexual attraction towards members of their own species, and consequently the desire to engage in homosexual behaviour. There are, actually. Look up "homosexuality in the animal kingdom" and become enlightened.

Back on topic, I don't know of any homosexuals among my family. I haven't thought to ask about the topic, as there seems to be little indication of the possibility among those I know most. On that note, I have to wonder how living life as a gay uncle will play out in the future, assuming my brothers want children.

I don't think I have any gay relatives. Which is bizarre really considering todays lifestyle changes and the fact that I have a rather large family. Perhaps I'm the only member with questionable sexuality.

Would it weird me out? Not really, as I don't find gay people weird in any walk of life. I'd probably be quite confused at first - "My cousin is gay?! I had noooo idea". It'd be a bit surreal when you grow up with these kids and they turn out gay, I've never actually known anyone irl who I grew up with who turned gay so yeah it'd feel weird. As for my aunts and uncles, well they're all married or divorced but all with kids, so I doubt any of those will come out of the closet.
