Ah, von Igneous, I wondered when you should arrive! yes yes, do come and have a seat. And what a marvelous brandy, perfectly aged it would seem... your arrival is most excellent, if i dare say, for we were just about to begin a sporting game of who can take the strongest tea.
Isn't that right, chaps?
Ha! I'd place my last farthing on von Igneous were it mine to place, such as it is.
Oh dear have the festivities begun already? Seems I am a bit late, I had to cater to.. things.. events, and whatnot.

Welcome all new Gentlemen! 'tis a shame that we don't appear to be acquiring any new lady friends however..
now as for the strongest Tea, that would be Malachy Tea, simply horrible strong stuff that is..
afterwards we shall partake in some cannonball tennis.

The gentlemans club as far as history goes would be newer - High society is placed farther back in time - in victorian times and earlier. Think parasols, frilly dresses, maids and nobility wearing ridiculous clothing.

We only play cannonball tennis around here where we give you oversized raquets and you have to deflect cannonballs.

Yes indeed. Thou should have know that Lady Tottington is indeed a woman! Something tells me that you are not quite fit for our fine establishment, if you cannot tell lady from lord!
The good Duke Of Wales, how wondrous it is to see your face around these olden parts! Tis good indeed.
How about you join the NGPD? Just what is the Newgrounds Police Dept.? Click the link and find out for yourself!
Lady Tottington, when you say oversized raquets just how oversized are these raquets? I say to deflect the cannonballs, they would indeed be of a large size. Surely they would not be able to be well wielded, am I correct in so saying?
there really was no way to make that sound as uppity as it should have been, unless you fine gents and M'lady can think of something.
Wait is that the chat where I can slap people with a fish?

Darn kids with there hippity hop talk. SPEAK ENGLISH WE ARE IN THE UNITED STATES.
Listen here good sir, did you or did you not read the title of this club? "High Society Club" and our sub-title is "No riff-raff, commoners, etc. allowed." So bugger off will you please? If you wish to join our fine establishment, try again in about 2 years. Sorry old bean.

I say, I find you language quite rude old chap, I do apologize for my horrible behavior. But I do hope we can set this little problem aside and act like gentlemen.
silly creatures, THIS is is ENGLAND - there was no high society in the "United States" - nay it hadn't even existed yet! This is the VICTORIAN times - and before.
as for cannonball tennis - WE don't play it - we get big, strapping young gents with thighs the size of tree trunks to play FOR us! We also line each side with criminal commoners in case they miss - 'tis a bit bloody, but it's delightfully dark sport I say..
and yes steelchair - fish slapping abound - high society has to be called in session in ye olde irc room though - or everyone will get confused! We generally call high society either tuesday or wednesday night.
