it is as obscure and as privileged as it needs to be dear - none of the commoners need to know of it's presence.

I ha done finished clearin yer courtyard of the disused and unimportant ma Lady. Anything else ye be wanting now?
I believe that it is high time this club has given a breath of fresh air. All those who are with me say "aye".

So negative. It's not that spirit which got us this large manor and vast quantities of brandy. I ask you, why do you not believe this to be a good idea?

You speak odly to a peasant.

I'm a kind sir. If it would please you more I will use the proper manner. Get back to the field, urchin. And don't return until your brow is covered in hard earnt sweat.

I don't work on your land. I work on Chronamut's land.

Way head of you. I send a PM yesterday :).
I am most sorry but I was attending to dignitaries and nobles out in spain - we brought back a fresh brand of tea - Paragon tea.. I do find it most delectable.
Lady Tottington Welcomes you all! Now it's off to my vegetable garden.
So what's the new roster for 2012?
Any chance of an elevation through a weird long lost relative or marrying a lady who has lived her life in the solitude of the estate and wishes to learn more about the poor?

I see, it is always good to take a break and go traveling. Especially when one brings back such fine wonders as an exotic tea. Personally I would love to go to The Congo with nothing but a man servent with a plucky sence of adventure and a bag to bring various lovely things back.

It's good to have you back M'am. Now the revival of are club can truely get under way. Anybody for a glass of brandy and a cigar to celebrate this most glorious of times?
At 1/27/12 10:49 AM, Confucianism wrote: So what's the new roster for 2012?
I think that it would be a capital idea to scrap the old roster and start a new. I'll send out some PMs to the users that were posting the most in here before it took a rather tragic nose dive. I'll put the roster on hold until we have a few more users attending our great club.
Obviously it's Lady Tottington's last say.

I would be as happy as a Frenchman who's just invented a pair of self-removing trousers.
Pleasse consider approving me m'lady!
Later chapps!
You don't get to decide if your a lord, count, duke or whatever here. Your assigned role is by what date you signed up. Basically, you're a peasant until further notice. You can be any kind of a peasant, good or bad, stupid or slightly dim. Whatever you want. But you are a peasant and should talk like one.
At 1/28/12 09:17 AM, Red-Cheetah wrote: Well okay sire.
I'm of getting the turnips for dinner.
I'm not your sire. I'm just a peasant that the nobles actually like.

Good, good it is always nice to sit down to a hearty dinner after a long day of drinking hard alcohol and going on a hunt through the grounds.
Good to meet you anyway, I'm Sir Decky of Cheshire. The roster manager for The High Society, and what is your name so I can add you to the list? (Peasant ______)

T'was a joke my good man. There's no need to take offence, I was merely poking fun.

Let's get married.

We could run away together far from here and lay down, under an old oak tree and make sweet, passionate and just down right illegal in these times love. But sadly t'was never to be. As you are a lowly worker bee and I a highly respected member of this society, are love could simply never withstand the extreme pressure that would be put upon us. So go, hush my sweet. Away to your fields and we shall speak of are forbidden roimance no more. But know you'll always be in my heart.

You captured the essence of the times and depicted it upon your words.

Good, good. Now back to the fields Jeremia Catson and bring me some hops to create our own brand of ale. By the way you do not have to address me as my "my lord", simply "sir" will do.
At 2/1/12 10:35 AM, Red-Cheetah wrote: I fetched two pounds of hopps sire.
What do i need to do now sir?
Well I'd say we would need more then that, go to the nearest market and fetch back more. Them we must make some kind of device to turn it into ale. I shall away to a library.
At 2/1/12 01:11 PM, Red-Cheetah wrote: I'm back with the device sir.
Good, good we shall make some fine ale for a great feast, we really must get some more of the old lot back to our fine club. One is quite fearful for the future of this place.
Where's that library anyway?
It's in The East Wing dear boy.
This castle is gigantic sir.
It's more of a clubhouse but yes, yes it is a large building.
At 2/1/12 01:11 PM, Red-Cheetah wrote: I'm back with the device sir.
What kind of rudy peasant are you? Peasants don't go around with mechanisms that ferment ales nor do they know people who know how to build such things.
Where's that library anyway?
Peasants should not be allowed into the estate buildings of nobles and lords.
My years of history has lead me to question the reality of your role as a peasant.........
I on the other hand have finished clearing my lady's estate of the *cough* "grot" and am now burning that which could not be removed with lime stone.
