how do you beat the boar guy?

You have to grab the spear he throws at you and throw it back at him with D just when he is about to hit you. This will stun him and than you can slash away.

Yeah, I just figured that out, but I'm doing barely any damage...
Oh well, time to try some more I guess.

Well it helps if you got a good weapon with you. Are you switching back to your old weapon after you throw the spear?

Also, you gotta make use of the rage status, if you're not doing that already. Throwing rocks at him does some reasonable damage as well.

Well, there's a few places you can find out about this. First, always check the NG Medals - Games & Tips thread, as this is where the hardcore gamers that play these games to death hang out.

Also, if you're looking for info, walkthroughs and so forth, try Wylina, as the people that maintain that list have the know how as well.
