How often do you wear the same...

shirt? Back in high school, I tried to avoid wearing the same shirt more than twice in a month. It started when I was labeled "poor" because I wore the same undershirt almost ever day. The reason for doing that was because a lot of my t-shirts were loose in the collar area, so I would fasten my necklace against the collar of my undershirt, and have my over shirt completely visible and comfortable. (similar to the collar style that girls do with dog/cat collars). It also helps to add that I wasn't comfortable with the string of the necklace against my bare neck.

After that, I either wore polos and buttoned-down shirts, or just one shirt without my necklace, which I disliked.

So, which brings up my earlier question again: How often do you wear the same shirt?

Really does depend on what kind of people you're around. I went to a private high school so everyone wore suits and ties, so if your clothes weren't spanking clean then you looked like shit. But my college on the other hand is full of plaid wearing hipsters who wear the same thing for a month, so I can wear the same shirt 2 days in a row without it being a problem

Every time I do my laundary (Yes i do my own laundary isnt that wat normal people do) I tend to wait until I've worn every shirt that I like or find comfortable again. I do my laundary every week however.

I was one of those kids who wanted to be accepted, and immediately changed something about myself if somebody didn't like it. I guess you could say I "lacked balls".

I wish I could go back and change how insecure I was. I only realized how silly it was until after I graduated.

During my freshman year of high school I wore the same brown hoodie almost every day. Sometimes I'd have just a plain white T-shirt under it if I felt especially lazy. No one thought I was poor.

I didn't wear different clothes just to participate in a fucking fad. I did it because people thought my family was financially unstable, which hurt me emotionally. Thanks for being such a fucking asshole, now go fuck yourself.

Like someone previously stated above, I had many different shirts; I just enjoyed wearing my favorites. I was capable of keeping many shirts in my childhood since I've been a medium since age 13. Hell, I'm still a size medium.

i will wear the same shirt for a good ... 3-5 days if im working.. but when i am not i will wear the same shirt only once before it goes in the laundry...
but other then that, why in the hell would people complain if you have a love of a single shirt... it was like their favorite blanket when they were children, a favorite teddy bear when they were growing up, a favorite pair of jeans that fit just right, or even in adult hood, your moms favorite earrings.. we wear them not because we are poor we wear them because we wither can or they bring us comfort...

I don't have enough shirts to go for more than a couple weeks without wearing the same shirt. Besides, I live in a household of four, so laundry is done fairly frequently; thus, I figure, if it's clean, then wear it. Though, I try not to wear something within five days of its last wearing.

Depending on what shirt it is, sometimes I'll wear it for a couple days at a time. For example, band shirts are great, I've worn my Nirvana shirt for at least 2 days before.

In the same week is a little abnormal sometimes. Worrying about repeats in the same month is ridiculous. I basically have a little over a week's worth rotation of clothes before I need to do laundry if that's any measure.

I wear shirts from Hot Topic a lot. I usually repeat myself about once a week with shirts sometimes. It depends really. I'll wear a shirt 2 weeks in a row and then forget about it for a while.

The 'never wear the same clothes' fad is stupid as hell. It was created by a bunch of rich preps.
