Voting power Q

why is it that i am a lv... 5 now and when i look at some of the pages of members higher levels than me we almost have the same voting power? now im talking like lv 8s and 10s. is there some other factors twards your raw voting power that i dont know about? i guess my main Q is... why is there variation in the voting powers?

well i knew that but like today for example... i voted on 5 things to get my points for the day and my VP went up by about .10 . the blam/save is only an addition onto your VP and only works for the flash portal votes, not audio and art. but if there is really no other factors to raw VP than my daily voting on 5 things then... i guess were done here.

It rises on an exponential scale - 10 points at Level 2 means quite a jump, but 10 points at Level 45 doesn't mean much, other than standing pat. When you reach Level 60, You'll get a base voting power of 10, with a sliding scale further down the levels.
