Is there any bands that you dont really like at all, but have 1 awesome song that you love? does this make me a bad person for only liking 1 song from these bands and thinking they are terrible? is your ipod filled with tons of bands with only 1 song each from them? How many more questions can i fit into this paragraph?

im just intrested to know if anybody else is like me.

Here are just a few of mine:

The pursuit - evans blue
the ghost of you - my chemical romance
lollipop - framing hanley
vindicated - dashboard confessional
wait - earshot
better - guns n roses
vela together we await the storm - the human abstract
Situations - New found glory
sick of myself - matthew sweet
southtown - P.O.D.
comfortably numb - pink floyd
already over - red
drowning face down - saving abel
they say - scars on broadway
kiss from a rose - seal

Please tell me you're kidding.

The others are somewhat reasonable, but not this one.

Music is an art, everybody has different opinions and tastes and interpretations.

Too bad that isnt what this thread is about. So if you could kindly leave...

Most of the "personal one-hit wonders" (why didn't I make this thread?!?) I listen to are the only song I know from said artist. Usually changes within a few weeks or months

Not saying that at all. But honestly, there's a lot of similarities in their other songs with Comfortably Numb, so if you like that, it wouldn't be hard to find a song that shares many similarities with it by them.

its just my music taste, but when i hear a single that i like, i go out and buy the album, because in most cases, the song the band chose to release as a single is good, but there are better songs on the album

actually this is the exact opposite of the truth, ive found. One hit wonders almost always have shitty CDs.

When i used to buy CDs (its been quite a few years) i would have to hear at least 2-3 good singles or songs off an album before i bought it.

I like the radio, and some of the songs show quite a bit of creativity, which though controlled by the higher-ups is still better than a lot of indie bands who think they can show up the other cool band.

I also download songs I hear randomly in commercials, on friend's CDs for me, and random songs I look for. A lot of great songs aren't always singles.

Most of their best songs are slow starters, to be honest. I can understand how you might not listen to a song of theirs because of a really boring intro or something, it might take a second listen to appreciate.

Chick Corea - Spain
Randy Newman - Short People, My Life Is Good
Stevie Ray Vaughan - Riviera Paradise
infected Mushroom - Becoming Insane
Evol Intent - 8 Bit Bitch, Reality Check

Other than that I usually have full albums or discographies.

Most of the Dark Side Of The Moon and (arguably) Division Bell sound much like Comfortably Numb

Chesney Hawks - The One and Only
Its not so much the band I dont like, just that nobody else has heard any song by him, except that one.
