Are all people from Germany...brutish? I've had two exchange students from Germany, and they are both violent-minded and brutish. Is this natural?

Nah, don't stereotype the Germans like that. I've talked to a few over Teamspeak, and lots have good senses of humor and nice accents.

Forming an opinion on an entire nation because of two encounters is a little ignorant. There are different types of people in every country in the world; just because you've met two less-than-awesome Germans it doesn't mean that the other 80,000,000+ of them are exactly the same. ;P

I wouldn't say so. Two German teens =/= the entire nation. In the 40's, that might be a fair assumption, but now... Not so much. I think that the UK residents are more brutish that Germans are. And the folks in the Middle East even more so than us.

I have no guns, a six-pack, and didn't vote for bush or obama. Both of the germans that I know are really laid back pot smokers. I don't judge the whole population of the country by that though.

Long answer: Not any more or less "brutish" than people in any other country I guess. Yes, there live a few brutish people here, but you can see those in like any other country as well, right?
