Yeah, no matter what I do, each summer my first time on the beach I always get a fairly bad burn.

This annual tradition occurred a few weeks ago, and I'm still a bit red in places.

When I was a kid I went to the carribean on a family holiday. The first day we arrived I went straight down to the beach and ended up falling asleep there (without sunblock) because of the 9 hour flight and lack of sleep the previous night. Got really bad sunburn and had to spend the rest of the holiday in the shade. :(

Also, a couple of years ago I went to Portugal with two mates and got pretty bad sunburn from playing beach rugby on a really REALLY hot day. The sunblock did next to nothing to help, and I ended up in the shade again for most of the time, lol.

I am already badly sunburnt from being out in the sun from 8am to 2pm every day this week, and I have to be out in the sun for a whole week after this week. I will be charred by the end of next week.

The work, which becomes a new genre itself, will be called...

I thought the ozone layer had restored itself to 1970s levels.

Maybe the ban on CFCs has been secretly lifted.
