Unfortunately, no truly memorable games have come out of Nintendo's system since SSBB (in my opinion). Now, I love Nintendo, but personally, I think that the Wii's time may have passed. If you disagree, agree, or wish to prove me wrong about the memorable games, I welcome feedback, because this has been bothering me for a while, and I would like to see other people's take on it.

SSBB? Memorable?
Does not compute.
I pretty much hate the Wii nowadays and even I can name some good games from the top of my head (most of which are way cooler and more fun than Brawl)
Like, No More Heroes 1 and 2, MadWorld, the Phoenix Wright series on the WiiWare (if you don't have a DS), Cave Story, Disaster: Day of Crisis, the RE on rails shooters, and those are the ones that I can name without looking at my collection.
Still, it doesn't have as many great games as the 360/PS3 do
I thought brawl was the worst one in the series. They should have just taken melee, and added online.
The best game on the Wii was either the Metroid Prime Trilogy, or Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition.
The Wii is still a great system, mostly from it's GC and Past System Compatibility. Most people here hate the Wii with a passion, same with people on /v/.
DAMMIT I WANT MORE EXCLUSIVES CAPCOM!

No More Heroes 2 and Tatsunoko vs. Capcom. Your opinion is now worthless.
When all else fails, blame the casuals!

You and I both know that that would outright kill the series and lose half its fanbase. Resulting in no chance of a fourth game.
But if you think Melee was indeed better than Brawl. I'll believe you. Personally, I'd reccomend you play both games at least one more time, but hey, it's been a full year since I popped in Melee as I was waiting to get my copy of Brawl back, and though feeling like I was a preteen again was fun, the transition back to Brawl was much more welcome in the end.
I usually frequent the VG and collaboration Forums. If you find me anywhere else, I'm lost and can't find my way back.

i agree completely. Ever since then iv been having trouble finding many good games for the wii. Theres a few but not many
It's sad, but the only Wii games I've enjoyed are Super Mario Galaxy and New Super Mario Bros. Nintendo should go back to motionless controllers. I want to play Zelda the fun way... sitting down.

Need I remind you that the first NMH was supposedly 'exclusive'? Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom is face-meltingly awesome though.
Here's my Dtoid account. And my Urban Terror ID is BenelliM4-Medic. And I know Travis Touchdown isn't a Capcom character, but I put him in anyway.

The first NMH was ported for the 360 and PS3 but only in Japan. If counting Japan exclusive games, tho, we could also count Captain Rainbow and Pole's Big Adventure.
The sad part about it all is that the Wii had so much potential. If only Nintendo had released a lot less family-friendly/casual gamer games, I believe the Wii would be THE console to have.

True, but NMH2 is leaps and bounds superior to the first, AND is still exclusive to the Wii.

The Wii now get's it last chance to show that it really can do it! This year we will get both Super Mario Galaxy 2 and Metroid Other M, and maybe, just maybe, a new Zelda title.
Another thing the wii does wrong is that it have no games from some of most populare Nintnedo series like Star Fox, F-Zero and Kirby.
It just released the "New play control" games like Metroid Prime Trilogy, Pikmin and Mario Power Tennis... thats like it... They make these games to make it big, but then stop... I want them to re-make more games like Luigis Mansion and Zelda Wind Waker! and Mario Kart: Double Dash with online would be sweet.
Also it should have a achivement system, and DLC for games like SSBB... Since the wii don't have this, it is falling behind. I have a Wii, i enjoy it, but it needs better titles like the GameCube.
Other than that steaming turd known as Moster Hunter Tri I haven't bought any Wii games in well over a year. The only reason I still have a Wii at all is for the Virtual Console.

Super Smash Bros.? Memorable? Yeah, sure, just like Soul Calibur was memorable.
Seriously, just switch to Street Fighter and you'll never want to touch SSB again.

I hate fighting games with health bars. I like a game where A person who's been playing for years can be on the same playing field as someone who's played for 2 hours. Excluding the latter spamming hadoukens.
Well.
Shit.

Hate to break it to you, but Doom hasn't been popular since 2001. No offense.
Many of Nintendos memorable franchises left with Rareware.
I personally think Super Mario Galazy, Super Mario Bros. Wii, and Super Mario Galaxy 2 and the only games I have come to enjoy.

To be fair, I though brawl WAS melee with online play.
And I agree that melee did have something that brawl didn't. But still, I loved brawl, and it's still a memorable game.
Come on man, you can't honestly say you didn't enjoy Brawl. It isn't as memorable as melee, mainly because it came first, but I still loved it, and it kept me occupied for ages.

PC is not a console, noob.

The System itself and the actual characters that Nintendo has are great.. too bad their game making side sucks ass. While innovation is good, they fail to realize that people like their games because of the way they are. Take Mario for example, Galaxies was a great idea. Then look at Zelda. Wind Waker was the stupidest shit ever, expecially since most people saw Zelda as a somewhat story driven game.. not some shitastic cartoon that involved hours of sailing around..
It is ok to make fun of America. But if you make fun of any other country in a vague or joking way you get banned.

I found the New Super Mario Bros on the Wii to be intolerable after playing the DS version. It just seemed so much harder to control and the gameplay was cheesier. Although I did enjoy the co-op feature.

You've obviously never played Wind Waker, and are only basing your opinion off of what screenshots and vids you saw. Otherwise, you'd know it's a damn fine game.

Agreed, but I meant time-wise, I don't think the Wii has pumped out anything exemplary since Brawl. There are, however, better games for the Wii than SSBB on the market (super mario galaxy FTW),

What's wrong with the DOOM series?
