No matter what, I just cant seem to get hypnotized. I guess I've gotten in a trance state a few times... but I do not believe I've ever been made to do anything while in said state. And I've only manage to trance like two, maybe three times, and never that deep.

Actually, hypnosis is a state not the act of making someone do something while in a trance.

Also, you're always going in and out of trances for instance, when you daydream, that is by definition a trance state, where the sub concious mind has taken over while you dream.

I had/have an online friend who was almost successful in hypnotizing herself into an orgasm.

But as for myself, I don't have an experience doing it or having it done to me. I've heard mixed things about its effectiveness. It depends on the particular goal, really. If you're utilizing it to try to undo childhood trauma, then it's BS, but if you're just trying to get a friend to act like an idiot, then there it will affect them, at least somewhat.

Just last week I was playing capture the flag outdoors with some friends. It was one of those games where you basically just look at the other side for a while and never take more than a step over the line because you don't want to get caught.
