So. The other day I tried a Marshall Valvestate at a rehearsal room. It had a pretty decent clean sound, and an okay chorus. Didn't bother with the distortion cause I get what I need from my pedal.
I think I need a bigger amp... also money.

Why would you not bother with the distortion? You are gonna spend money on an amp and not care about all the features?

I don't intend on buying that particular amp, I was just commenting on what I used it for. It made me realise I need a bigger amp tho. I wouldn't get a Marshall anyways.

Guys, if you haven't thought of this already, it works well.
Ok, so for the past few weeks, I've been playing in front of the grocery store every few days, and I've made about 12 dollars in an hour every time.
Nobody cares except for the manager, and when he finally sees you, he'll just ask you nicely to stop.

I use to get easily $40 to 80 an hour for fixing computers which took no more effort than clicking the mouse a few times and waiting on my ass the majority of the time. $12 is nice but not that crazy of a deal for hauling equipment outside where it could start raining and ruin the equipment or simply annoy people which might of had a bad day and just want to get their grocery shopping done and go home.

I've considered doing this, but I wouldn't know what to play, and it'd be weird because I can't sing.

$12 an hour means you are a crap busker. A good busker can get easily 3 times that. All you need is high foot traffic and to be very noticable in a visual sense. You pretty much need to get it so there is no way anyone can ignore you.

Well, I just use my acoustic guitar, and I live a 10 minute walk away.
It's also under like a covered area.
But yeah, it could annoy people, but it could also cheer up someone's day to hear some nice music.

Not in front of a ghetto grocery store and the performer being fifteen.
I'm like RIGHT NEXT TO THE DOOR too.
I mean, it's not FANTASTIC, but it's not bad either, especially since it's the first performing for money I've been getting into.
I was in a band for a while, but they kicked me out because they were really lazy about scheduling rehearsals and I lived OMG 15 MINUTES AWAY THATS TOO LONG and then they went and put in actual effort and got gigs, so I never got around to making money that way..

I don't sing either (I can hit notes but my voice isn't that great), and I still make the cash!

Get an electric and a pocket-amp. That be rad.

Oh no worries, I don't/won't.

I play a bunch of songs, here are a few:
Plug In Baby - Muse
Question - Old 97s
How High the Moon - Jazz Standard, I'm not sure who originally does it

I have way more than that, but they usually come to me while I'm playing and I can't remember them.
I also have 2 songs that I've written that I play.

So I played for about an hour again today, with my friend, and altogether we made 30 dollars which is pretty good I say.
Ohh, also, mysterious bartells lady, who is this lady that works at a drug store near my house, has like listened to me/me with my friend play a few other times, since we go there once a week, and she gave us a ten dollar bill :3
I have a secret crush on pretty mysterious randomly generous bartells lady, but shes like 4 years older than me, so it will never work, which makes me sad. I don't even know her name, so I get the added bonus of feeling like a creeper.
But HEY, I had fun playing and made some money, so it's all good for now.

Looks really nice. I have an SA series, but I play my friend's RG series all the time and it's great. RG puts out more of a metal sound than SA, so if you're into metal, then that'd be a good guitar to get.

Most likely the blue. Blue is my favorite color and that guitar sports the perfect shade. Black would look really good too though.

I wish they had an option with the blue color, but the same design they have with the black one.

Seconded.

They have a certain twangy vibe to them that you just can't get from a steel string.

Huh.

According to Firefox Spellchecker; 'twangy' is an actual word.
