Haha it's all good, I can see how that could of been misunderstood. So, my case for my Ibanez just came in the mail so I can actually take it places with me without worrying about damage now.

So guys, I just bought this and it's fucking ridiculous.
So awesome.
It's got a big learning curve since there are so many different things within every little menu, but after 4 hours I'm starting to get the hang of things.

I have a new favourite guitar that I want. I originally wanted to buy a Gibson SG or perhaps a Firebird. Partly for the look but also partly because it's a guitar that's built to a high-standard when it comes Gibson, usually. Seems the more I look through video's though and from what people tell me, for an ideal Electric guitar for my style of playing, I could do with something like a Ibanez JEM555.
Good guitar/bad guitar?

The JEM would blow the living FUCK out of any Gibson. Don't trust everything you hear; Gibson loves to cut corners anywhere it can because it knows it's going to sell its guitars regardless due to the amount of tools that exist in the world. Hell, their guitars commonly surpass five grand and they STILL glue the neck to the body rather than making it one entire piece, simply because it costs less and enough people are brain washed. Get a either a ESP M-II, Jackson SL1 or an Ibanez RG3620Z or any Prestige for that manner - If you want a versatile shred machine.

So I said fuck the jaguar and got a classic player jazzmaster. It's a beautiful piece of equipment and a great price considering it has all the mods already done to it that the players I admire have done to theirs.

so I just picked up Dream Theater's new album "black lines and silver linings" and its SOOOO good. Everything is top notch. It would be a 10/10 if not for Jordan's expected keyboard masturbation. I would recomend it to anyone.

I'm not a BBS mod though, so you can all stand at ease ;)
Man, I started working on a wicked photochop of the GT-10. It had like...3 expression pedals, 3 screens, heaps of foot pedals, and looked ridiculous.

It's far from their best.
In fact, in my opinion its their worst album.

I don't recall saying its their best. Their best is most definitelly images and words. Their worst is either train of thought, octavarium and/or systematic chaos.

I prefer Awake to Images :). But it is still brilliant.

I'd say either Train of Thought or Six Degrees. Join the Dream Theater Crew, we need members :P.

Is my guitar suppose to look like this?
The nut looks like it's been moved over. I tried to move it back, but it's stuck, as if it was made that way...

Well, I suspect someone has done in the past a left handed conversion with the guitar (based on the fact that the strings that remain are arranged in a lefty configuration,) and hasn't slotted the nut in properly when re-gluing it back in. I guess it should be fixable if the nut is removed and re-glued in correctly.
Of course I could be entirely wrong with my Sherlock Holmes styled deduction...

I'm in a spot of bother here, gentlemen.
I applied to do music for GCSE at the end of last year, but I know jack shit about theory. They only let me go ahead with it because I said I'd been playing for 3 years and proved I can play guitar (half) decently.
I think there might be tabs in addition to sheet music, but I'll have to ask about that.

I suggest you get practicing reading music like a motherfucker :P.
That said, its only GCSE, so it won't be hard at all. As long as you can play nursery rhymes you should be fine :P.
