I've recently been playing Hush by Deep Purple, Le Grange by ZZ Top, Billion Dollar Babies by Alice Cooper, and Sultans of Swing by Dire Straits. I'm having trouble with the last two. Playing rhythm and filling in the leads on Sultans of Swing is tough, and the solos are a bitch to play. I'm working on it.

holy shit Les Paul died on Thursday. And I just found out.
A sad day indeed, Les Paul was a genius, without him, popular music wouldn't be what it is, and not only for the guitar he may or not have invented that carries his name.

So, metal riffs are extremely easy to make. Play the top two strings, done.
Purple haze all around, don't know if I'm coming up or down. Purple haze all in my sight, can't tell if it's day or night.

Yeah, way to generalise. Now go and listen to some Metal and realise you're wrong.

I think there's a typo in there, it's spelled DeathCore.

So can someone tell me the difference between Classic Players Jaguar HH and Jaguar HH. Will the classic ones humbuckers be less powerful? I like the fact that it has a wider neck but I don't want to miss out on the extra power if the other one would have a boost.

Jazz band is starting again tomorrow, I'm going to try and take my dad's tube amp instead of the solid state one I used last year. I'll have solos in at least two of the songs. One I can go completely crazy on and it's a petatonic B flat and the other is more bluesy and jazzy with feel and everytime the major chord switches I have to switch too.

Cool story bro
Nah just kidding. While I usually prefer Metal, Jazz/blues jams are much more fun to play ;D

I would rather chop my own balls off than consider the thought of even touching that thing.

Wow, that is SO ugly.

Wow, that is ugly. Not as ugly as the name upon it though.

As if his half SG half flying V wasn't bad enough already, he manages to shit out this horrible manisfestation.

The description is really conflicting with the pictures. It keeps talking about how "badass" it is and stuff.

Zakk Wylde should be banned from even thinking about designing another guitar.

So I guess since I didn't post a guitar meant for metal or made by Gibson it isn't worthy for you to click on them to help me out.

Im starting a project on making an inverted version of that, except I've had this idea going for a few months now. I like the headstock.

Count me in! Two years! Mine's a PRS SE Soapbar ii Maple...
Also, my top pickup is lopsided, the left side sunk in a bit. The screws are tight and it won't budge. Will this affect my playing?

What do you expect, he's some sort of high school drop out redneck that miraculously waked off to the point of being able to play fast. I could come up with a better and more ergonomic design with a pencil wedged between my two butt cheeks. Fuck, I hate this idiotic real world.

After seeing Girlschool at Bloodstock I really do too. There is just something so inherently Metal and Rock about them.
I'd have to try and get an old one of course, but they're still fucking br00tal.

I don't concur. To me, they appear as over priced/ over hyped toys.

I wouldn't buy a new one. I'd get one second hand. But you can't deny their influence on modern Metal guitars. And Jackson's and ESP's and stuff look shit. The Flying V has a special charm to it.
