Funniest User
Very straight forward. This spot should be reserved for the user who when you read their posts, you find yourself literally laughing out loud or at the very least laughing on the inside. It takes a very special gift to create laughter here, so award those who can do that.
Biggest Attention Whore
The ever famous LOOKATMELOL award. This is reserved for the posters who post only to be noticed by others and they're not afraid to resort to embarrassing, if not degrading means, to get the attention they crave so much. Whether it's constantly posting pictures of themselves or making absurd claims about their teenage sex life, this sad creature wants you to notice them. Unfortunately by giving them this award we're actually giving them what they want but oh well.
Drama Queen
An award for those who make mountains out of molehills, or more commonly they make a bigger deal out of an issue than need be. Also known as the people who are willing to fight with anyone on the BBS about a variety of topics. Ok I've spelled it out enough times for you.
Never Logs Off
The award for the user who every time you log into the BBS, you see their name in the active users list and wonder if they had ever left in the 12+ hours you had been gone for. Just something to keep in mind for this one folks: more posts don't exactly make for a user who never logs off.
I Miss Yew
The award for users who no longer visit the BBS but you wish they still did. These are the people we have fantastic dreams about where they return to the BBS and it's the best day ever, only to have you wake up in a cold sweat and realize it was only a dream. Crying afterwards is optional.
Best Artist
Another straight forward award. And I'm obligated to say don't vote for Stamper or JohnnyUtah although I know they're still going to get votes. If you really want to get a good fix on which artists might deserve this, you could take an adventurous romp over to the Art Portal to sample the goods before voting.
Master Creator
The best topic creator of the first half of the year. The people who get nominated here should have multiple threads containing lots of pages AND great content attached to their name. Only the best topic creators apply here.
Rookie of the Half Year
This is for the best '10 user so far this year. Yes I know that a lot of you, especially you 08 users, think that all new users are noobs to be solely judged by their sign up dates, but surely there is one of them so far that has shined through the darkness. Who is shaping up to be the next best user of the year? You decide.
Most Improved
For the posters who have improved their posting habits the most over the past half year. Vote for users whose posting habits you used to hate, but now they've done a complete 180 turn and have turned into a respectable poster.
Biggest Spammer
Do not vote for someone for who has under 100 posts and spammed the BBS last week. We're looking for posters who have accumulated at least 500-1000 posts of garbage over the past half year. These are posters that constantly use pointless pictures, and mostly have +1 posts that add nothing to the BBS.
Most Overrated
For the users who are always praised for being a good user, and have done nothing in your all knowing opinion to get the praise. A good chance to vent your inner jealously of other popular users, but of course you're not jealous ;)
Most Underrated
For the user who you see making quality posts but doesn't get proper recognition for it. Only vote for people over the past year and don't vote for past winners. It would help to do some research before voting if someone doesn't automatically come to mind.
Best Thread
This is a new category which will hopefully feature in future BBS awards should it prove successful here. Whether it was full of great discussion, or just a barrel of laughs, what thread stands out in your memory? Please provide the actual name of the thread, or preferably name and link.
Worst Moderator
The award that lets the users finally vent their feelings on who is the most 'power hungry' 'corrupt' and, the ever popular, 'unfair' mod, or of course the mod who just doesn't deserve to be one. Current moderators are all that apply, including review mods if you really feel that they apply.
Best Moderator
The award reserved for the mod who you think is the most fair, or does their job with the best efficiency, or a combination of both.
Worst Poster
Who you think should just have their account deleted based on their posts over the past half year. Must have at least 500 posts, and it should be someone that is fairly recognizable.
Best Poster
The biggest award given out. Vote for the user who has been the best all around poster so far this year. No more needs to be said.
