this may help africas economy (very little)

Hopefully it does as they need all the assistance they can get and you're probably a bad person if you think otherwise :)

Indeed, especially with scandals that occurred.

Spain have been underachieving lately, maybe they should invite Pau Gasol?

Good, Pau Gasol is a failure, and I hope Spain loses too.

I'm pretty sure if they eviscerate a player they'll be through to the next round where crouch will score a hattrick

Aw man, I think everyone knew that it would come to a point where our offense wouldn't be able to make up for our defensive stumbling, but I was hoping that we'd be able to get into the quarter-finals before that happened. At least we put on some of the more entertaining games of this world cup and it is nice to see the lone African team stay in the running. It'll be interesting to see if we can continue to build our team up over the next four years and come back as strong, if not stronger.

Well, I think

Well, I think that it was toned up to create atmosphere myself, to create the sort of tension that

knockout football

truly deserves, and even if the game goes over

ninety minutes

then it is still, tensely,

knockout football

and we will play to win.

Germany have shown that they are a side to be reckoned with in this World Cup, and in the art of

knockout football

, and we need to respond to that so as to avoid

fucking tabloid disgrace

at the stage of this prestigious

knockout football.

My predictions tomorrow, Argentina will win 2-0 and Germany will win by penalty shootouts or 1-0.

Man it's sad to see the US leave in my opinion, prematurely. It seems like they put so much effort and hard work into that they deserved to lose to a more noteworthy team than Ghana. Not to bad talk Ghana because they played an excellent game and were the better team for certain. Maybe the US can find a goalie that can leave the far post and doesn't leave the near post wide open when the opposing forward has 0% chance of shooting it far post :P But it was certainly a great run for us yanks and it definitely sparked US interest in the sport which is a win in my book.

As for tomorrow, I'm expecting Argentina to walk over Mexico and Germany to handle England because the Germans always do well somehow. Looking forward to the next games!

Inallsrs, this is what i've been telling yanks about getting knocked out by Ghana:
At least it was Ghana. The happy team everyone loves to love and everyone has a sweet spot for. The only team that would have more acceptance and smiles all around would be Jamaica. And Ghana's not "surprising everybody", they've been good for a while now, not like you were going toe to toe with Honduras or anything. At least you didn't go down to an average team nobody really cares about except the people from there, like Chile. If you're going to go out, go out with Ghana, srs.

I'm so glad that no Chelsea players were involved in that, you have no idea.

Also I think Jamie Carraghers part wasn't edited, he probably just learnt the term 'knockout football' so just keeps repeating it to sound smart.

Yeah, I have to agree here..
So I was playing a game after the match, and obviously everyone was talking about it, and most of the Americans were either hating on Ghana or...praising American Football.
Geez.
Although the predictions for today's matches seem pretty easy, I wouldn't be surprised if one of the teams that was supposed to lose comes up with a surpirse win (haw haw haw)...
Also pic semi-related.

While I do love that one I got to say my favourite is the Tescos one.

The look on Franks face is just hilarious when the mother utters those dreadful words "Wayne Rooney".

Classic.

I'm not even sure if I'll watch the match, maybe just some highlight reel or something. Don't feel like ruining my day too much today ;)

Any disinterested Brits in the Midlands area, meet up at my house and we can watch San soleil together.

Ten minutes until England start getting their backsides handed to them on a German platter.

Also, I'm at my parents' house and there's a horse in the neighbour's garden. I don't know why.

Anyway, time to open a beer and prepare myself for my 8th World Cup disappointment. Cheers!

CAN WE SKIP THE ANTHEM AND GO TO THE MATCH ALREADY?! :P

Oh hey, is that Mick Jagger again? O_o
