Holland scored their second goal! At least we're still getting the perfect 9 points now. If it stays this way that is.

If they win this match with 1-0 I can't complain about their performance in the group stage. I mean 9 points without any goals against is the best result any team has had in this WC thus far. Only Chile can also still pull that off. While I don't think I've seen the best of the Dutch side so far, I'm sure I'll have good cause to sing your lot's praises in the second round.
Also, Sorensen also just nearly did a Green. Ugh, it was nasty! Another good free kick for Japan!
No we can do a lot better than this, but I'm thinking maybe Holland tries to lay low for now to prevent being bombed the #1 favorites like we were after the group stage in 2008. Hopefully we will play at our best in the next rounds.
I heard Denmark just scored by the way. So that's one. Only two more to go :p

Uruguay, Argentina and...? Or are you counting the USA as South-American too? :PI know my geography skills are bad, but not that bad. Ha!
My mistake XD
But yeah I get what you mean. The South-Americans are doing good, but they usually do. They are one of the biggest football continents along with Europe after all.Yeah I know, but I'm a little surprised at the dominance this year. Not easy to field that many teams and have them not lose one game. Though I think Chile might lose to Spain tomorrow.
They haven't lost any?...
Hey you are right. That is pretty impressive. I can see Uruguay getting all the way to the semi's too, now that they'll face either the USA or Ghana in the quarter finals.

Can't argue with that penalty. It was clearly a hand ball. Stupid van der Vaart, you could've easily headed it away. No need to stick your arm out like that >=(

I really should switch my provider. I had mediacom which is an ok broadcast company in the United States but a couple of months ago it was bought out in the area I live in by a local company. Now it's some broadband crap. They have a basic package which I have now and it is dirt cheap and since I don't tend to watch much television i'm fine with that. It has local plus some infomercial channels. The only other option they have is to pay for 100+ channels which I would only watch a few of anyways. I don't see the point in paying over fifty dollars a month for a couple of channels that I would want. In the US soccer isn't all that important so they only show the later knockout rounds on the local channels. Right now the round robin stage is only on espn and espn 2.
I see. I assume with local channels you mean something like: channels of the state you live in? :p
Anyway you can still watch on the internet with livestream. I think that only works well with a good internet connection though.
