Yeah, sometimes you wonder how he could shoot so many goals in the Premier League... players like Rooney for example chase the defender if they lost the ball. They try to get the ball back.

Also: Poor North Koreans, they played a very good first half against Brazil and now got literally slaughtered 7-0. And worst of all: That was the first game I missed! WTF?!

I think a draw or Chile winning this match would decrease Spains chances for the next round most.

In those cases Spain will have to win their last match against Chile, whereas with Switzerland winning all Spain needs is a draw (assuming they win with more than 1-0 today and assuming Switzerland wins against Honduras).

Poor refereeing at the current game by the way. 8 yellows and 1 red card already. He doesn't seem to have much control over this match.

I lol'd when I heard Portugal beat NK 7-0. The most winning streak so far this year I think.

Worst world cup ever? Could be. Refereeing has been awful in pretty much every game. Diving, embellishment, and general whining-crying-faggotry is as prevalent as ever amongst the players. There has been a whole slew of goal-tending errors and a whole tonne of injuries to star players; with even those who are healthy having for the most part given rather poor performances, Messi excluded. Factor in the high amounts of crime around the stadiums/country and those fucking vuvuzelas, and you have a less than stellar tournament so far.

Chile 1 - 0 Switzerland

Nice goal. Excellent pass and nicely headed in by Gonzalez.

I guess this was inevitable. Switzerland has hardly been near the goal in the second half and Chile just kept on attacking which finally resulted in a goal.

Like I said earlier, I don't think Spain is happy with this since Chile won't need more than a draw in the last match to become group winners. Chile being the second best team in the group (on paper), it's gonna be very tough for them.

Wow, these were two very nice games..
Portugal raped the poor Koreans, and, to be honest, they deserved it..their defence was just...not there in the second half, and they barely had a couple of good chances during the whole game..
7 goals by 6 different players..that's pretty impressive..
The other one was radically different, with Switzerland being pretty solid until that red card (which was completely uncalled for)..Chile did deserve their goal, especially after the one they scored got cancelled (although the second one might've been slightly offside, dunno)..
The referee apparently had fun spamming yellow cards in the second match...it was fun when he drew out a card and showed it to both players involved in the foul...

it's almost as if they used all of their skill against Brazil and completely lost motivation after the first half against Portugal.
i feel kinda sorry for them. and i hope Kim-Jong doesn't destroy their houses or something...

A draw would be fine too, as I doubt Switzerland is going to lose against Honduras.

But with Chile winning the former match, Spain is already in a difficult position since they (most likely) HAVE TO win against Chile in match 3 to pass the group, while Chile only needs a draw to be the group winners.

Spain just scored their first goal by the way. I hope this will be all.

Yeah, they just have to ban him. That was just stupid.

Also, the ref is doing a good job so far, even though he didn't see that slap from Villa. After all this bad refereeing in the past few games it's nice to see a ref with who's doing a good job for a change.

If Spain continues to play like they did today, trying to carry the ball into the net, they won't make it very far. They just have to learn to shoot at the goal instead of passing the ball around in front of the penalty box.

I think Honduras made a good game. Sure, they didn't create any scoring chances whatsoever, but they played a pretty good defence most of the time and sometimes they also had some nice scenes in the offence but Spain just was about out of their league.

They have been up against two very defensive sides so far, which clearly doesn't suit their style of passing play. Once they take on a side that are actually interested in scoring goals I suspect there will be much more space to pass through them and play the style of football that they have been.

It will be very interesting against the ultra-attacking Chile side- that could be a crazy game with goals at both ends. I certainly expect Spain to progress with a win there now, so fingers crossed Honduras can hold the boring Swiss and allow Chile through as well- it would be terrible to see Switzerland bore their way through above such a fantastic attacking side.
