Sadly I have to agree..horrible game with 15 or so yellow cards and so many errors and lost chances...then again, it's probably Holland's fault on the long run..3 lost finals, that sucks.

Well that's that for World Cup 2010, Spain are the champs, though I was supporting the Netherlands I was disappointed at how they played the game, kicking lumps out of Spain for 120 minutes. Looking forward to Brazil 2014

Pretty poor game on the whole, though a mile better than the 06 final. Spain deserved it just because the Dutch should have had three or four players sent off, but by their standards that was a terrible display from Spain.

Also I hope Torres can get himself up to the stands to celebrate with the cup- he was distraught when he went down.

Oh, man. Over so soon. I was sure the refs wanted to give out some more red cards. Even though this was an enjoyable world cup with many twists and turns the officiating was horrible and FIFA will have to do something about this by next world cup.

So, what have we learned in this world cup?
The terrain quality of South African football fieds is DREADFUL.
Some referees could REALLY use some video technology in order to avoid making a total arse out of themselves.
South American teams aren't always the favorites
Vuvuzelas suck and should be permabanned.
England, Italy, Brazil, Argentina and France need to make some serious changes.
Impressive football that's enjoyable to watch =/= winning
Can't think of anything else for now, but there definitely are more.

You are right, Gagsy. I am just overreacting about the loss of Holland.

But by talking about MORE CARDS, I meant that even after the goal, Spanish players started getting cards. But maybe it's just me.

Seriously, the referee gave like 10 cards to holland, and half of them were totally unfair. Then at the end at the free kick it was a corner, even my grandma could see it, and the ref gave spain a goal-kick. That made spain score, even if it was offside, which the referee also didn't see.

Casillas might be a crybaby, but he played a damn good match (and a damn good WC)..
Spain has been winning in almost every sport recently..(note: they also won the basketball world cup)..the bastards are probably the best nation in the last 5 years when it comes to team sports.
