Absolute joke how a dutch player got a yellow card for something that he didn't even see. Later on a dutch player was punched in the stomach, referee saw it but all he got was a free kick. Not even a yellow card even though such an offense would warrant a red card with any other referee.

Overal any match with either spain or brazil is just stupid. All they do is tackle, lay down and try to get the referee's favor to win. If the finals were Netherlands v Germany atleast we would see some real football and not a fight for favors.

I notice that some of the matches in this years cup alot of players were pushed(pushing happens normaly) and hit the ground acting like they were shot. Come on USA, Germanys or Netherlands team don't due this I hear USA coach highly disagrees on when players due this. Whats funny is that after the ref favors the guy they get back right up and act like nothing happend.

What, no Schweinsteiger? He was vital for his team, and he had a very high rate of winning duels with his opponent. For me, one of the best players this tournament.
But oh well, Villa and Sneijder both scored 5 goals which propably weights more than being a stone wall in the defensive midfield.

adidas Golden Boot: Thomas Muller (Germany) - 5 goals, 3 assists
adidas Silver Boot: David Villa (5 goals, 1 assist)
adidas Bronze Boot: Wesley Sneijder (5 goals, 1 assist)

Very nice for Müller that he won the golden boot.

Hyundai Best Young Player: Thomas Muller (Germany)

Well, I can not think of any other player who deserves this award more than Müller does. :)

As I said before, it's a shame that everyone remembers about the greatest strikers while the rest of the team goes unnoticed. In my opinion, since defenders are usually not taken into consideration for the Golden/Silver/Bronze balls, there should be some kind of special award for defenders only :)

For all who want the 2018 or 2022 World Cup in the USA, there's a site with a petition for it.
http://www.gousabid.com/

It's a legit site. Landon Donovan is encouraging anyone who wants this to sign it.

Well, that sucks. IMO, Australia should get it. Ever since 2006, football has been on the rise. A world cup here would be a good thing for everyone.

And thats not me being bias just because getting up at 4:30am to watch the games can be a bitch.

if were gonna take the whole game we could say that iniesta would have got a red card for his reaction at van bommel and then the referee only gives a warning and if it would be that he didnt saw it then he shouldnt give the first yellow card to heitinga either cause first of all it wasnt 1 and he didnt even saw what he did.

The ref doesn't need to see everything, that's what the linesmen and other officials are for.
But I agree, Iniesta should've got a red as well. But you could say it would've been a whole different game if de Jong had been sent off in the first half already.

The Netherlands vs. Brazil game looked fixed. Either that or the refs were extremely biased.

Oh well, I'm happy Spain won instead of the Netherlands.

well, like, you couldn't, like, find it because, like, you're dumb, god
