Yoink, on schedule today.

I've been playing Transformice. I could write 8000 characters worth of text about what a strangely fascinating and hilarious game it is, but EVD does such wonderful videos.

This was going to ge a tribute to the wackiest level in the game, in which the physics have gone really haywire and there's a Anvil-composed mayhem-creating contraption in the middle of the level (lovingly nicknamed the "Anvil god"). It flails it arms around, the mice try and evade it's wraith, the shamen desperately attempt to neutralize it and in the end everybody gets punted off the level. It's completely wacky and completely hilarious, did I mention that?

Why yes, the image is a bit clusterfuck-y. I might try and rethink the composition sometime later.
Brb, doing #10 & #11

I will try and get the two lost images done. This is one of the restored ones.

A watercolours portrait of Omega, a...fairly unusual critter. I know his head might be quite a puzzle to figure out so think of it this way - a horse's head with practically full face mask and a cobra's neck.
Not a whole much to say here. He's evil. He's telepathic. He controls a whole army. He's very willing to unleash the army upon any unfortunate soul in his way. Screaming and maniacal laughter ensure.

For the Robot Day '10 Poetry collab. This is for Rabid-Animal's poem "Dry". Although the author suggested one of those old oil canisters as a illustration, I liked the idea of a behemoth-like robot heavily trodding onwards better. I felt that it portrays the feeling of the robot being weighed down and worn out better.

Hay, not finished yet!
Okay, long story short - I got distracted, I kept missing the deadline by a day and figured I'd upload all the images once I hit the deadline. Which didn't quite happen so I figured - fuck it, let's upload what I've got.

Let's begin with an old debt.

This was originally going to be a rant image about the assholery that I, as a scooter owner, experience first hand. But on yet another mopey moment aboard my trusty two-wheeler, I had this thought of, for a moment, pretending that my scooter was a cruiser instead.
And with just a moment, all the mean thoughts had just disappeared and I sat there and giggled at the idea of the stereotypical badass biker sitting on the most pathetic motorized two-wheeled vehicle there is. On the other hand, look at him. Doesn't he look FABULOUS?

Note to all car drivers- if I can touch your car while it's passing me (plz use blinkers too, okay?), then you're doing it horribly wrong. I don't want feel your four-wheeled penis extention, let alone let it ram me from the backside.

Ahhh, Mass Effect 2. What a wonderful game.
However, it is also a wonderful distraction and distractions are bad when you're trying to get something done on a schedule.

Sulking in self-pity aside, this is a small comic about one of the most unexpected scenes in ME2 and how one of your squadmates has this constant obsession with yelling "I...AM....KROGGAAAANNNN!!1!" before charging at anybody. Put two and two together....

I was listenting to a song from Goldeneye:Source OST the other day and listened to a song called "A Classy Deathmatch". As usual, thought drifted in their own strange ways and I finally ended up with the thought - what if, instead some sort of marines/aliens/space marines one could play as snobbish british men with monocles, tuxedos and tophats?

What followed was a longer musing about a wonderful world, where one would not have to fear the screechy 12-year old kid's voice when playing online nor should they listen to somebody play "Never gonna give you up" over the microphone. But that's an idea for another time. The snobbish Briton is the thing that matters.

I want a game where, upon a headshot, there is no announcer yelping "HEADSHOOOT!".
I want a some where I'd have some British voice exclaim: "Jolly good shot!".
DEVELOPERS! MAKE. THIS. HAPPEN!

I don't really know how to explain this. This is a part of a music game idea I've had for a while. This is an Audio Leviathan, an anomaly similar to a black hole but which is kept together and powered by sound waves instead of gravity.

I've been thinking for some time how one of those would look like, and this is a visualization of such idea.

Yesh, I haven't thought the leviathans quite trough <_<

Heat. 30 degree Celsius heat. The stagnated air and blazing Sun just sap one's energy.

....I was going somewhere with this.......oh well

Pretty much everyone has been staring at clouds and looked for shapes, animals or....space ships. Watercoloured for great justice!

Been browsing trough art books trough the summer. Including one about 30 minute sketching.

So,I went out with a sketchbook and did some 30-minute sketches from my neighborhood. It's worth noting though that my routine was - 15 minutes to find a new spot and set up there, 15 minutes to actually draw.

This was fun.

Ah, Pirates, Vikings and Knights II.
I've always liked the Knight team the most, more specifically the Heavy Knight.
Maybe it's because of the comforting clanking of armor as you run, reminding you that there's a thick metal plate between your skin and enemy blade.
Maybe it's the ridiculously slow, ridiculously slow and ridiculously powerful sword that he carries.
Maybe it's the joy of blurting out Monty Python references with a snobbish accent.
Maybe it's the insanity of shouting "I'M INVINCIBLE!" to three attackers and then destroying them all with a single swing.

I don't know what it is, but theses medieval Ironmen are awesome. Oh yeah, and then there's those Archers too, but nobody likes them. Them fags.

* hums "Ride Of the Valkyres" *

This and 21 were both based on sitting in a beach, being bored and sketching the shapes that I saw in clouds.
On a sidenote, I've found myself somewhat disappointed with watercolours. I always dreamed that they would be perfect for creating "flowing" images, yet am yet to figure out how. It's alot harder than it looked...
