I suppose this would be how any 'official' NG chat would look too... which kinda shows why there's no real effort to get one going, if this is the likely result.

Occasionally, if your internet connection 'blips', the socket isn't fully closed and it takes several minutes to log you out.

Then you can log back in, I'm working on a fix for this problem.
