Summer 2010 NG Mixtape

Initiating a NG Collaboration of User Submitted Songs. 16 songs, one CD. CD's will be available for torrent but will come with some cover art for your favorite iTunes playlists. CD genre is Drum and Bass.

There are 16 available open slots for songs. Any Composer can send any song. Song can only be accepted onto a CD. You can PM me , or e-mail your songs but please do not upload them to NG. Destroys the point of the CD. Once all 16 songs have been complied the CD should be completed.

Requirements:
Genre: Drum and Bass
Kbps: 320 (CD quality)
Max Length: 7 minutes
Min Length: 2 Minutes
Trademarks in songs: Please do not include them. Your Full name and NG name will be included with Cover and song description.

Hopefully we can collaborate this before summer is over to have some kickin' beats to rock too. Submitters may receive benefits if CD is a success. By the way, I will not be making money off of this. If this is a total success maybe we can negotiate with iTunes for songs. Then Users will be making money.

Okay, how deviated can the drum and bass be? Should it be more towards the style of radio stations and the traditional dnb like bassdrive and thejunkees radio stations, or more powerful like pendulum, the prodigy and the qemists style? or even more like the newgrounds style? Or whatever we feel?

it would be nice if the tape was only of fast paced non-dubstep dnb. But I guess it's not possible these days

Actually let me reiterate my point. Given it is DnB, I would reccommend you have some hard hitting bass and some impressive drums, but things like tempo and instruments are totally up to you. I just want to give it that badass feeling, so when your riding down that neighborhood, you can throw in NG mixtape, roll down your window, and let the subs rumble.
