4.07 / 5.00 13,902 ViewsHello! This is my first drawing I have actually put effort into on photoshop. The original Drawing was bare only me and the Kangeroo, down in market and pen. A small story I had a nightmare and a friend of mine told me a kangeroo had it in it's pouch. So I set out on a long arduous journey to find it, and I did in a meadow to have an epic fight to the death!
Not bad. I think you did the glow from the lighter good.
On the other hand, the blood from the kangaroo needs to be more red.
Also, using a pre-made grass brush makes it look unnatural as there's just this big gap in the grass around you and the kangaroo.
Thanks for the tips. The problem with the grass though is that I scanned my original drawing into photoshop so I had to leave a gap around the characters. Any closer to characters, and the blades of grass would be sticking out of them. As for the Blood I will work on that. Any other advise?
This is my cell phone, I drew this at school since I had 2 hour break between the classes. Done in the #2 pencil only.

This turned out pretty good.
I have a comic in my store called Sliced Pastrami. I mixed it with Final Fantasy 7, and the only reason I don't have the girls in there is because I didn't want to offend any of the girls that work there, even though any girl who fits Tifa is a blessing. I call this piece Pastramil Fantasy 7.

Mixed it? with what?
No offense but it's very hard to see the the differences from your OC and the FFVII characters.
your art reminds me of another artist's style who was also trying to use a similar Garfield style.
As for a review of the art thus far, its barely par. I can see some viewing this and being on the line on weather it deserves it's own thread or not.
Your second and third picture are much better than your original and I kind of wish that you had gone with one of those instead instead
the cell phone needs a little more definition, right now it's hard to tell where the contour lines of the phone are if not for a change in tone.
The Final Fantasy picture could use some shading, a proper ground plane for everyone to stand on and, this last comment goes along with your first picture as well, anatomy.
I appreciate the feedback on my drawings. The cellphone I know it's light, I can't seem to make my scanner go darker though. The original in my sketchbook is much darker than that. I felt like my first was the best one so far XD.
As for my third Picture I could have done alot more, but I will have to redo it again cause like you said Kin, the characters are off balance with nothing to stand on. Here is a fourth one to look at.
Lol this one took me 2 days to do, and I know it's not very good, but I'd like so feedback on this as well. This is only my 3rd time sitting down and actually using photoshop to recolor these pictures in, and it really sucks not to have a tablet to help me. Mouses really suck sometimes trying to make sure I don't go over other colors or lines I need.
Your still life drawings are actually pretty good - but your cartooning needs some major work. I advise putting your characters through some effort machines, like pre-sketchign and all, instead of simply slapping them on-front.
Nice name, too.
Well I do sketch them first, then I colored them on paper, and then I put them in my borther's canner and they came out lighter. So I redid the color of picture 1 and 2. Like this is the original of picture 4 I used Prism marker and pen for it. The skin is prism pencil.
Why does he have both hairs? I'm confused.
Is he changing between the 2? or did it get stuck?

I like the marker version better. Why does he have two hairstyles at once? You should have picked either one and gone with that.
Goku wearing a wig to fool his enemies or something?
No. You know in Dragonball Z how everyone waits for the other to power up first? Well my character doesn't wait he jumps at Goku before he can do it, even though super saiyan 1 becomes an instant transformation.

Sounds kinda like a jerk heh.

Stupid little story to the fourth picture. Goku and friends attack a little girl with no power level. They think she is an android, and witness her destroy Majin Buu extremely easily. So they attack her only after she tries to attack Krillin. Seeing his daughter being attacked Ryajin rushes at Goku.
Here is another picture.
My Wizard-Little brother of the guy attacking Goku. I redo this one cause the red by his leg was a mistake, it's not blood. The two little squares I think I did that trying to see what two greens were better to use. But I like this one better so I am posting it.
My Main character in his transformed body. Same guy fighting Goku.
My Miserable attempt at trying to draw armor. Originally I had him only in cloth, but I wanted to try making him more detailed so I added armor to challenge myself.
A joke drawing I did for a friend. The picture was far to light so I used photoshop to darken it up. I'll post the original if someone wants me to.
The question of this picture is: Is this naked man going to hit a beach ball, or is he winding up a powerful punch to the raticate that just hyper fanged his Wigglytuff to death?
This is a weird lamp candle holder thingy in my room. I liked it so I drew it.
My first comic I did for my store. I see most comics usually do a story in 4 boxes so I am doing that. The color is faded again do to my stupid scanner.
No more opinions/tips? Sadness has occured.

I think there is not much to say. Just keep practicing I guess.
Ummmm I apologize if this kinda breaking the rules about posting in a dead thread, but I didn't want to make another one for 1 picture and waste space. I'd really like some feedback on this new post.
its your art thread, you can bump it whenever you want, mine dies for months at a time before i bump it, youre best to keep it all in this thread anyway
This is my first attempt at a 3-d image. I mean I have made some basic crap in a classroom, but to actually put those shapes in a form. This is so simple for all kinds of people I bet, and it would take them minutes, but this actually took me a damn while... like 4 hours.
What do you guys think?

It doesn't look very 3-d to me though. It looks more 2-d with tweaked cel shading. I'm glad to see you posting again.
yeah it does kinda just look like some shapes with some wierd gradients thrown on, not like any 3d iv seen
