I think the submitting is broken, i chose my file yet it wont come up and its really annoying.

No one knows yet but I would assume once a significant number of flashes have updated.

Even thought the Aura is gone i wouldnt mind making some icons.

Finally done all mine (few are stretched up from 100px icons I had, not re-screenshotting 30 games!)

Why 140x90 though? Even Facebook only uses 130x110.

I'm sure there's logic behind the choice but using 100x100 icons would've been much easier as most people have these already.

Please update your old Flash thumbnails!

You will notice your user page now includes a link to your 140x90 icons (here are mine), to make it easier to see which ones need updating. You can also directly access the edit form from your individual submissions. There's a reference image at the bottom of this post.

If you run into any situation where your image upload doesn't work, PM me with the subject "ICON FAIL" and include any error messages you received on the page and a detailed explanation of what happened. Also include your OS and Browser type and version.

If you don't have time to update your icons, I have made a volunteer thread where you can post requests and users / icon mods will make them for you.

Well, I'm extremely sad. I took a long time to make all those icons, and now I can't use them. Worse of all, I made all of those icons with my old computer, so I don't have those icons anymore.

Why couldn't you guys make an optional change thing. That would have been so much better.

Oh well.

Fuck, there goes my library of pornographic 46x46 icons. And there's no way I can make 140x90 icons for all 172 movies that I've submitted (along with the 40+ that I have on alts), so...

Funny how this update happened right while I was uploading my first submission. I was wondering why the icon function wouldn't work. Go figure.

i think the larger thumbnail size will be great and will allow greater creativity possibilities for the artists who create them. also, it think there should be a way to sort games, movies etc in order of rating, views etc, like buttons at the top of the games page, movies page etc saying "sort by: 'popularity, views'" etc. not that newgrounds should become another youtube clone, but i think it would be a great feature to add so that people could instantly know which games are the all time most popular etc.

OK...so will iconhelper.php accept 140x90 icons? There's not much point in people continuing to donate their time to make 46x46 icons, afterall. I can accept that the hundreds of icons I've made in the past on a volunteer basis are going to be trashed but will not bother to make more that I know are ultimately destined for the bit-bucket.
