I submitted a robot day art portal submission, and included "robotday2010" as a tag, but when I search the art portal for "robotday2010" it doesn't come up. Am I missing something? Will it be considered in the contest? The title is "I love you too" Thank you in advance.

Art will appear instantly on your user page, but you will need to be scouted by an approved artist before your art appears in the Art Portal. You'll also need 4 pieces of art before you can be scouted.

I feel like an idiot now. You are scouted and all that. I guess I should have checked a little more before I posted.

But, I did search for your art, but the tag didn't come up. But I did search the name and it came up. Maybe its the way you wrote the tag. Try adding the tag as "Robot day 2010"

This is weird....I can't get any tags to stay. I type them in, click finished or whatever, and when I go to check for the tags they are not there. What am I missing? Did you see the art? I tried putting spaces in but it said I couldn't "only letters, numbers, hyphens...blah blah blah"

Great. So I tried to delete it and resubmit it making very sure I used the correct tags and even went so far as to change the name of the photo to "robotday2010" but it said I had already downloaded that file. So I checked my submissions, and the picture wasn't there. There was an option that said "View deleted" Tried that and it said "Error-You do not have access to this page" So I went and tried to upload it again, and still "file already uploaded" or something to that effect. So now, as is, I am really screwed lol

Wow, that is really weird. You might have to wait awhile before it recognizes that it's not on the server anymore. If it still continues, try contacting an art mod about it and see if they can re upload it or delete whatever is left of it.

Try hitting the "View Deleted" button again and click on the "Undelete" button.

If not, to bypass the uploaded error, change a very small detail of your picture and try uploading it (taking care to not make it noticeable). Or just wait until the server permanently deletes the art you deleted.

Open your image and resave it. You should then be able to resubmit it... not sure why it's not showing up in your deleted section though. Just another of the countless glitches yet to be sorted out.

I just added 'RobotDay2010' as a tag to Sockembop's pic (didn't think he'd mind), and it turned up when I searched. Unfortunately (or not), the tag search doesn't include art from unscouted users, so...

In a few days, there will be an 'official' Robot Day Art contest thread in the art forum... just post your piece there and it will be included in the judging.

Well, I finally managed to get it to the art portal with the correct tag. All is well. There is one loose end, however, I still cannot view the "deleted" page. Oh well,betting rid of it made me s

As they work on improving/fixing/adding features to the art portal... and the site overall, other things are bound to break. I'm sure they'll get it sorted eventually.
