Although kind of a lack of inspiring start picture, the thread seems to be off to a good beginning.
This second picture here, there is a glaring problem, which is kind of two problems to be honest.
The wires holding up the clouds should be as straight as possible, mostly to have the illusion of weight. The one on the far right seems to have the Illusion, but the others do not.
Also you have a little bit of a balancing issue. You should go ahead and string up extra wires to remedy this situation since one wire unless perfectly placed in the center of balance would not hold the straight like this.

I love this dude, Very creative. I love the whole 8bit Vibe! I recently made this promo pic for my band 8bit style.
The art thread seems to be off with a good start, but your is seriously lacking in the efforts department. Might want to try to put your art through multiple sketches... or any sketch layers. Smooth out any inconsistencies.
yeah thats my biggest flaw i can never spend over ten minutes on a picture but ive been working on that so hopefully we we see some progress soon.

These characters are quite interesting. I think Savant should have normal size legs though and you need to make sure that when you draw characters their arms are the same length :P
well i havent posted in a while bcause the internet was out of my reach but now its summer now an im at my dads house and he has comcast up the ying yang.
Heres some concept art for a flash game i plan on making over the summer. =]

i made this for fun but it still counts as concept art i guess. just two guys doing bussiness in a mental wasteland.

Wow - you're really committing to this, aren't you?
Anyway, nice art style for a flash, and the shading is simply enough to enhance the looks without providing too much more effort. If this were a game, I'd play it.
thanks! im trying my hardest to keep the quality of the art while animating so the game looks at its best.

Well, your character drawings are certainly coming along - although you may want to work on your backgrounds, you can procrastinate on that until it needs doing.
This is Custard the Bear he beats the shit out of girl scouts to take their cookies.

love to see you playing with guns and all but keep in mind that they are not right triangles.
have the handle flow out of the gun a little more.
i kinda want them to look unnatural and prototypish but ill try that a bit

even in prototype form, certain things remain a certain level streamlining, especially firearms

Your characters and concept stuff is looking really great. With the flash stuff the lines look a bit messy. Zooming in helps with this alot, lowering the smoothing can also make it seem neater. I've been using around 18 smoothing now. Lower smoothing and zooming in more gives you much more control over the line. Finally you should try and end your lines in points more, mainly when the line doesn't connect up with the end of another line :)
thats super helpful =D
zooming with low smoothing is something ive never thought of ill definently try that thanks cloudy.

dude ur an awesome drawer and if u make that into a game with a good story it will be the best in my opinion
ok heres a quick try out of that zoomed line thing....this is all for the lines but i added some other stuff just to make it less boring.

The lines do look neater. You just have to work on doing faster line strokes now and it should be perfect. Also make sure you pay attention to the brush size your using and what the magnification is at so you can go back to that if you zoom out or something. I've messed up a few times like that although in the pic the lines are very constistent.
