Greetings fellow writers! As you may not know im on a cursed writer's block and do not know if i should stick with this story. Okay here it goes...
2023-The world is in global peace and all seems to seem prosperous for the nations but as it seemed all was going grand the worst happens...the United State's capital and many others erupt in horrid nuclear explosions and completely wiped out but to make it worse the nuclear containtment sinks into the core and causes a division between many pieces of the earth and all break apart from each other causes earthquakes, hurricanes, and other natural disasters. The aftermath leaves the last bits of earth into dry life-less deserts that hold the most ruthless conditons to ever be seen. The animals have mutated into horrific beasts and bandits, raiders, and slavers now run amok causing havok in the last days of earth
but it is not the end just yet...well not for one lone boy named Viran and his mutated giant dog Cerebus. They now walk in the outskirts of dead civilization in hopes of finding his long lost brother and a way out of this dead rock and onto the last bit of fertitle land that hover over his eyes. He comes across a few dead raiders and finds a letter reading "All to Rapture...go big or go die. 'Our' Heaven lays within our grasp!" and also a map that leds to a place labled "Rapture". Could this mean salvation for Viran and his dog? Will he be able to find this fabled city? or will he join the millions of others six feet under ground as a rotting skeleton?!
Sorry those were rtheortical questions....so what do you guys think? <:)
Weither you like it or not, it still will be there the next day, and the next day, and the next...

Make sure to have a thorough explanation of why there would be such a nuclear attack. I would think that the time leading up to something like that wouldn't be perfectly peaceful; there would be something about it that doesn't seem quite right.
and completely wiped out but to make it worse the nuclear containtment sinks into the core and causes a division between many pieces of the earth and all break apart from each other causes earthquakes, hurricanes, and other natural disasters. Nuclear radiation doesn't cause mutations, it causes tumors and radiation poisoning. Also, earthquakes I can understand, but hurricanes I'm not so sure about in terms of whether that would actually happen. If you're going to do something like this, it's imperative that it be scientifically accurate at least to certain extent.
but it is not the end just yet...well not for one lone boy named Viran and his mutated giant dog Cerebus. They now walk in the outskirts of dead civilization in hopes of finding his long lost brother
The search for one's long lost brother is a very cliche plot device.
and a way out of this dead rock and onto the last bit of fertitle land that hover over his eyes. He comes across a few dead raiders and finds a letter reading "All to Rapture...go big or go die. It sounds interesting and could be very good if executed right, but you just have to watch out for cliches and plot holes.
