Your favorites usually rake in the most money. Sell the good ones and burn the rest.

What good does burning them do?
Having a few keepsakes never hurt anyone. It's not like their drugs or illicit materials.
sold mine cuz im not a faggot
I stopped playing card games when everything seemed to switch to that bullshit new-cards-every-month shit. It got so stupid, and the people that actually kept up just dominated everyone.
complete bullshit...

Just do nothing with your deck. Eventually you'll make a deck that can apply to every effect and response. In other words, save up a lot of the annoying traps. That's how I win all the time.

Lol because your aura is fab
I actually decided to get out some of my cards not to long ago. But, the crappy thing is that when I moved to Virginia last year, I threw most of my cards away. All that I have left is like 40 cards and if I want some new ones for whatever reason, I'll have to deal with the crappy 5D's cards.

I always stacked my deck with high-end cards until people started this "Sacrificing" bullshit.
This thread has inspired me to fish out the thousand or so Yu-Gi-Oh cards lining the floor of my closet.

I miss the days when Ritual cards were relevant
Like Crab Turtle, that guy used to be a staple in my deck
Now everything's some weird psuedo fusion monster
I'd take a few to wipe my shit.

The whole book was worth of 200.

I think i have over 400 cards.
None of them are rare.
I was never into card games, but Yu-Gi-Oh was in fact the closest thing I ever got to being a fan of. I never played the games at all, in fact I think the only time I ever got an actual card was the card they were giving out at the Yu-Gi-Oh movie, but it was such a stupid movie I never got into it at all. I stil occasionally think of strategies I would use.

So, reading this made me want to look back on my old collection of Pokemon and Yu-gi-oh cards. I have an old collectors edition tin and quite a few rare cards, so I was going to get a picture to share them with you guys.
I went upstairs to find my cards in the storage cupboard, but they were no where to be seen. I then remembered that my mum had had a clear out ready for the car boot sale that they are going to soon; this gave me hope, so I went outside to the shed at the bottom of the garden where everything is being kept...
FUCK... MY... LIFE.
It's like a warzone. Although, I was actually quite surprised to find the tin sat there on top of all the crap... but it was empty. :(
I will find these cards.

The only reason why anyone would watch that film was to get the cards.

HO-LEY FUCK.
So I found my cards and I picked out the most rare ones, and the ones that are shiny and what not.
I have more shiny ones than these, but these 10 cards combined could apparently get me about £30-40 on ebay.
There are the 3 Sphinx cards, Buster Blader, Relinquished (Which is surprisingly worth the most, even though it's 1 star) and a Red-Eyes B. Dragon.
And for the Pokemon cards, there are 4 trainer cards that are worth quite a bit too. Like Blaine's charmander :)
Should I keep hold of them for collection value, or sell them now :) I really have no use for them other than collection value.
I just got an epic nostalgiagasm
I was so cash at Yu-Gi-Oh, (off the top of my head) I had Slifer, Obilisk, that other golden dragon one, The 5 Exodias and that 5 headed dragon with the completely retarded amount of attack points.

Word of advice: Dont ever sell the things. Those despite being valuable some are irreplaceable and the game is still played currently. Maybe you should start to enter some tournaments and brush off some old skills you had back then.

I just came to the decision earlier that I couldn't bring myself to sell any cards...

It happens, I'm still thinking about buying some again. But this time it cards would have to be japanese at least (I want to see what the secret rare holo-foil looks like in japanese). That way I can restrain myself since mostly english cards are available.

I say bring em back,
sadly I threw/burned/gaved my Yu-Gi-Oh cards.
Back in 01 or 02 I used to collect Aha cards. They were lithuanian but they're pretty awesome anyways.

Yu-Gi-Oh was pretty fucking cool, but they ruined it when they started releasing new sets of cards every month or so. I didn't have the money to keep up, so I stopped paying attention.
yea, have you saw the new type of monsters?Just.....fuck.
