That works well. I'm glad you moved all of the facial features rather then just the mouth. You could push your expressions even further by moving the whole head around.
I see you moving it when he gets hit, but even when he gasps or when he smiles raise the head a bit. Also, most of us don't realize it, but we cant our head to one side or the other all the time. So when he smiles, tilt it to the right or left.
The animation is good, now take it to the next level!

The animation part is really great the lines are a bit messy though but once you figure out flash better and get your lines looking smoother it'll be perfect.
