I'm actually really liking it so far. The maps seem a lot more open (KZ2 was corridors galore).

Controls are extremely tightened up, the default controls are more responsive than KZ2's, and its only at about 1/2 sensitivity. The move Controls are ridiculously sensitive, at about 80% sensitivity, the aiming reticule moves as fast as an average mouse. I'm actually doing pretty good with the Move controller, but having to hold a Dualshock 3 in one hand (because I'm too cheap to buy a nav controller) is kind of tiresome.

And it is a lot easier to get kills now. In KZ2, you would have to spent anywhere from 1/3-1/2 a clip to kill a guy, in KZ3 it only akes like 3-5 shots to drop someone.

I'll agree with what Yoku said, besides the Move stuff because I don't have PSMove. So far this Beta is awesome. I loved playing KZ2's multiplayer and this seems even better than that.

It wouldn't be much of a disguise if it didn't. I'm at Lieutenant already. Things have come to a grinding halt though because I've gotten error code 8001 and can no longer connect. Pretty annoyed as I was coming 1st every game. Unlocked nearly everything for the marksman class, the Hig assault rifle is a monster. I suggest getting it or the M82 ASAP.

It's the standard Saboteur from Killzone2 which is my main class. They're easily recognizable. Their disguise isn't an exact copy. Play it enough and you'll notice the difference. Also just point your reticule at them and disguise is no more. Depending on how many points they spent on it, you can either do this at long, medium or short range.

Yea I've been getting error 200005 for a bit now, apparently the servers are overloaded.

Or when playing operations, and everyone just plays it like Deathmatch.

I love stabbing Helghans in the eyes though, so I guess that makes up for the dumb players.

I loved the multiplayer, it fixed everything I didn't like about Killzone 2

I don't see how it's possible for it to get a perfect score. I've yet to come across ANY game that deserves a perfect 10/10, and Killzone 3 definitely doesn't feel perfect. I've read in some reviews that the story is just terrible, so I don't know what Destructoid was thinking.

Jim Sterling's reviews are always wonky.

And as far as 10/10 scores goes, a 10/10 does not mean its the most perfect game ever. It's just a way for the reviewer to say the game is very very good. Review scores these days are pretty crappy though, anything below an 8 is considered bad these days, and 9's and 10's are handed out like STD's.

I like how they've added the clan features. There's now about a dozen of us in the NG clan. Getting on now (providing it's working) if you're on.

The multiplayer is really fun but gets boring really fast since you always start in the same place and have to wait 5 seconds before respawning. Don't get me wrong it's amazing just gets old fast.

You have to get an invite from the leader. I don't have you as a friend but I'm sure someone else does. No more stripes for me now, nearly at Major. I'm not doing as well as I was yesterday though because everyone has caught up. I've had trouble getting onto multiplayer but once I'm on everything is silky smooth for me.

Well, this is the point of having a beta. They get feedback that the servers are acting a little wonky and will rush to fix that shit and work 24/7 from now on to fix all the little bugs. I doubt the full game will have this problem.

are you the same Cootie i played with around the beggining of the beta? A dude named Cootie kept hogging the speaker and not returning it. Then he was an assassin target and wouldn't leave the main spawn therefor denying any chance of a win.

Okay i just played the beta, here is my opinion.

pros:
-Better aim mechanic
-The "matchmaking" system makes more fairly balanced games
-more power-ups

Neutral:
-Melee animations. They get me killed so much but look kind of cool.
-it feels like im playing call of halo 3 and not a Killzone game.

Cons:
-Voice acting took a turn for the worst. The screams for the dead or dying are annoying and the speakers that tell you your next mission don't sound..."passionate," like the ones in Killzone 2. They just tell you and hang up. in killzone 2 Radec and Narvilles voices were top notch, it felt like narville was angry and that radec thought he was better than everyone. now it's like....meh.
-The new character select screen is confusing to navigate around. AT FIRST.

I've been having a lot of fun with beta, sadly it's tough to get into them sometimes. Making me so angry.
