Right, I've been working with a mouse for about... 8 years now? It could be 9, I'm not sure. I usually use brush tools.

Here is a piece I made a while ago:

Title: Cloth field
Starring characters: Yuki
Summary: A field of blossoms and a beautiful view!
Description: Our lovely blonde character, Yuki, takes a naked walk in the nearby field of grass. Nothing to disturb him - however he feels a bit embarassed naked and totally out there. A bird comes across with a cloth and covers his genitals up. I noticed how gorgeous my character looked and decided to mix it with pervertedness. Then this came out.

well structure seems to be a place for me to start. you have none. Anatomy and symmetry is a good second. Quality as a third. Last presentation, polishing, and final rendering.
I think you should really go look up some basic drawing and design tutorials.

Look, mate. I'm assuming you intended this to look like a person. Ask yourself; does it look like a person? Even by anime standards? It's all fucking terrible. Massive eyes, sausage limbs, fat assed neck- for fuck's sake, how can you ask for criticism when everything is so wrong?

Put some effort in. And no, I don't mean effort into making this abomination look better; I mean effort into a decent stab at a human like figure. Take a good look at the anatomy of a person- don't just dive in like that. Even anime follows the basic principles of human anatomy.

You see, this is a chibi. Massive eyes, rounded hands, big head... they all go into the chibi category. To me he looks like a person.

He has no fingers because I can't draw them.

even as a chibi, it ignores the anatomy rules of chibi. It doesn't even look like one.
regardless of what excuse you use, this needs to be scrapped and redone.

Here's something I can't stand people overlooking: "The only way to break a rule is previously knowing how to obey it". I personally dislike chibi styles, but even so, I accept it as a relatively new art style, however, making something that is horribly disproportioned isn't excused by calling it a chibi. To really be able to properly mess around anatomy, learn how to actually draw real proportions applied on realistic or semi-realistic art, only that way you'll be able to later on exaggerate the human figure without having it look bad.

hips do not bend like that, unless both legs are dislocated at the hip, the head isnt round, its uneven, line quality needs improvement so move away from ms paint, and, and shoulders dont look like that either, try some pencil drawings, it gives you more control and you can get more details in

You used MS Paint, didn't you? I think that's the first problem. You'd probably do better if you drew on paper and scanned it onto your computer. Paint's a pretty shitty program and other programs can be pretty hard to use. And if Chibi style is what you're going for, then you're on the right track, but just practice the human anatomy more and learn how to draw toes & fingers.

You should NEVER leave shit out just cos you can't draw it. If you always just don't draw hands or fingers because you can't then your never going to be able to. You'll only learn how by trying and then seeing what you did wrong then learning how hands should be drawn and trying again.

Every problem in your work you have an excuse for, and it's kinda pathetic.
1. Bad anatomy=chibi style
Chibi's follow anatomy regular pretty closely actually, other than the massive head, the body is still pretty intact.

2. hands
Draw them, it's the only way you'll learn

3. That neck
Is thicker than it's body.

4. The hair
I'd like to know what that hairstyle is called, until than, no the hair needs fixing.

These are just a few things, I don't want to make the post to long, when going by the other responses you'll just give me some shit excuse.

I wonder if this is an alt for Girly789? The "chibi" characters from both are very similar. Plus the way the write responses is also very similar. I could be completely wrong. Maybe the Trolls are all blending together?

It's possible but it doesn't really matter they're both bad at art and this guy should have done a better job of trolling that would have made the situation more humorous. The pic is hilarious with the bird holding the cloth and she called it Cloth Field hahah XD....

I've only been drawing in my cartoon style for 1 year. I gave up on anime because I couldn't draw it decently and tried Cartooning. It turns out it was my calling all along. I take constrictive critique to heart, too. I don't make excuses. I might say 'I was attempting to-' but I won't go 'well that's the style IN JAPAN' *rolls eyes*

Yes. Specifically the artists behind the work like Genndy Tartakovsky, Craig McCraken and Shane Glines...(char designer for batman beyond and kim possible)

Yeh, yeah that is bad, and to be honest the art style (South Park) is bad, the animation is even worse. But that show doesn't make it by on it's art or animation, but the controversy it generates, the writing and acting. In a nutshell South Park is an artistically challenged show with good execution and resources.
Your art, this recent piece in particular, lacks both appeal, context and dynamic. That is not even going in to the lack of anatomy, including the South Park style of anatomy, style and line quality.
