Yes it's possible, nutmeg contains the organic compound myristicin which after taking a certain amount causes clinical intoxication characterized by nausea, vomiting, dizziness, anxiety, headache, hallucinations and irrational behaviour. Fun fun.
It takes 5 - 6 hours to kick in, and you take 4 - 8 teaspoons to have an effect (you eat it). I took four, and I'm close to my sixth hour. right now it seems good enough, I'm feeling sort of buzzy and detached. There is a strange ring feeling in my ear, I have a headache, and my stomach feels wierd. Your peak is around the 7 hour mark. Fingers crossed.
"For those of you who who want to push your luck with nutmeg, don't worry. The FDA reportedly has no plans to raid your spice rack. Probably because they're assuming nobody is dumb enough to give it a go. Once you've crossed a certain threshold of stupidity where do you stop? You're going to have to start cracking down on spinning around in circles really fast and smelling your own burrito farts."
