out of curiosity, for those of you who don't like bush, what would he have to do to earn your vote? i mean, hypothetically, say you hated all the other candidates, and were planning on not voting at all, but then bush did this one magical thing that made you decide to vote republican. what would that have to be?his running mate? his cabinet? what?

1. Call for an end to the Patriot Act.
2. Balance the budget.
3. Change the approach of the war on terror to a law-enforcement operation.
4. Make friendly diplomatic gestures to our allies.
5. Fire Cheney. He's creepy.

i think that if he got a different running mate, one that was a little more people-friendly and doesn't scare children, he would have a pretty good chance at winning.

hell, if he picked bill clinton to be his running mate, i'd vote for him. we all know he's just a pawn of his v.p. anyway.

Can Clinton be V.P, if he can't be Pres. because he's had 2 terms?

1: Produce the 58,518,000 pounds of chemical weapons he said Iraq had. EVERY SINGLE GRAM!

2: Show me the delivery systems to use said weapons against the US Mainland.

3: Pull ALL troops out of Iraq IMMEDIATELY.

4: Repeal the ENTIRE PATRIOT Act and restore the 1st Amendment for protesters.

5: FIRE his entire cabinet and replace them with NON-Neocons.

6: Change 100%

In other words, I don't have to worry about voting for THAT monster. In all my 43 years, I have NEVER seen such a lying bastard in office, and I lived through the Nixon years.

Can you give me proof that Bush's IQ is 91? I've been trying to find out for so long I just have to confirm it.

The figure is from a BS study that basically had all Republican presidents with low IQ and all Democrat presidents with high IQ. I wouldnt be surprised if his IQ was at that level though.

Fairly sure - no, he can't.

And Bush's IQ - much higher than 91. He's actually quite average in intelligence. Just because he doesn't have great oratory skills doesn't mean jack. There is serious discussion about whether he might has some affliction, like ADD, etc.

What would Bush need to do to get my vote? Hmm... I know - export all of those devilish homosexuals, and instill family values again.

1. Be more conservative, for god's sake

2. Treat the American people with respect, instead of lying to them.

3. Either stop invading innocent countries under the guise of 'liberation' or take over the world and esteablish a New world Order, run, of course, bye the great, glorious King George II.

4. Get a brain transplant

5, Ease up on the Patriot Act and all other unconstitutional acts brought forth.

6. Catch Bin Laden, and attack our main enemy, Al-Quada

Quick question, I don't follow politics or.. anything much really, but what is the Patriot Act?

From the sounds of it, it sounds like it is taking away some of our rights.

This is the USA Patriot Act as Passed By Congress. It basically allows the government to monitor you, intercept your communications, it allows them to detain you for an unlimitd amount of time and all that crap that people who kinda like their rights generally bitch about.

Bush is not a true conservative, at least economically. He has increased the size of government and spending. He even has pandered to the steel industry and started subsidizing it.

Remember that IQ score wasn't based on a test. It was based on a person analysis of behaviour.

Oh yeah, I rememeber conducting a google search for President Bush's IQ and found that webpage. If you read the bottom little paragraph, you'll discover that the democrats have double the IQ of the republicans, wich is obviously totals bullshit.

Of course IQ is important! Granted, its not the only thing a good leader needs, but I'd rather have the man who governs my country smarter than me so he dosen't fuck up the country too bad.

BCC, which section of the article allows communications to be intercepted? I'm quite sure this has been done even before the Patriot Act. I mean look at John Gotti and how they were able to finally get him down, they bugged his place and intercepted his communications. This was well before any "Patriot Act." Also, which section allows for a suspension of Habeas Corpus?

Those are relating to terrorism and computer fraud, those things would have to be proven in order for them to use the information received from it in order to be used against you in the court of law. But like I said earlier, they have already been using wire taps and the etc. for awhile now, this has just extended it into the electronic arena.

Not really though. The current administrations definition of "terrorism" is quite liberal, and a judge can't turn down a search warrant if the reasoning is for terrorism. And guess what - terrorism is a national security issue, thus the judge often can't see any of the "evidence" that they have.
