Never played F-Zero because I'm not a fan of racing games, but I may be willing to start. A new Starfox for Wii would kick arse. Preferably in the style of Starfox Assault. Running around as Fox with all the different guns was loads of fun. And the space combat was never a letdown for anybody. Definitely a good project for Miyamoto if he still directs Starfox.

But a Wii Kid Icarus game has loads of potential. Imagine a third-person shooter with bows where you can occasionally switch to dual swords combat. I never played Kid Icarus and know nothing about the story, but fighting enemies who also use bows and swords would be very entertaining, and make great use of Wii Motion +. Oh, and make sure it takes place sometimes AFTER Pit finishes puberty.

But the one thing we've forgotten for a long time, is a Wii Kirby game. I would piss myself if they brought him back to consoles. When was the last time they did that? Airride? Wasn't that 2002?

Just thinking about the possibilities gets me pumped for E3.

Heh, you all remember the vitality sensor last year from Nintendo? I still haven't heard anything about what they'll do with it.

The most interesting of the list seem to be Crysis 2, Dead Space 2, and Medal of Honor. Lots of sports games as usual too.

According to GameSpots interactive booth chart, they may have leaked some new games. Mass Effect 3 is shown at EA, Ubisoft has I Am Alive, etc.

Microsoft's conference starts streaming live at 1:00 Eastern Time. You missed the Kinect conference yesterday, but I believe they will be airing it on TV on tuesday but I'm not sure what time it will be. You can also check what time the sony/nintendo conferences are by switiching the word Microsoft to Sony or Nintendo in the address bar of the gamespot link.

So anyways Kinect was officially shown yesterday with 5 games. It turns out that Rare's "secret game" was Kinect sports, which is just Wii sports with Kinect (using avatars). Also, Kinect Sports has a latency of 150 ms according to the developers of that specific game. Thats about 5 frames I believe if the game is running at 30FPS. Not too shabby, most people probably won't notice.

In addition to that sports game, there is Kinect Adventures(The Red Ball game, among others), Dance Central (Just Dance), Your Shape: Fitness evolved (which is apparently Wii Yoga, and Joy Ride (a cartoony racing game).

So far, the only game that featured the ability to move was a star wars mini-game shown. The movement was very limited, and actually moved in a THOTD style where you would just appear at another area and you'd get attacked by a bunch of enemies, move to another static area and get attacked by enemies, so on and so forth. Hopefully they incorporate the controller into some of the games for movement, since THOTD style gameplay gets boring pretty quickly.

Also when you do watch the Kinect footage, realize it's pre-recorded.

The pre event starts at 1:00 EST. The Official conference kicks off at 1:30 EST. I'm not sure how much of a difference that is going to make, if any.

Gamesloft announces Diabl- Err I mean Dungeon Hunter: Alliance for the PSN. It looks like a Diablo replica, but it supports 4 player co-op LAN or Online multiplayer. Looks to be pretty fun, I think there is already an Iphone version out or something but I don't really know.

Also, Gamespot starts treaming Microsoft's Pre-e3 conference, followed by the actual conference in less than 20 minutes.

They really need to fuck off with this franchise, or at least put some kind of warning up like they do in car racing games.

We've already had some poor kids come into my MMA class, get hurt (or hurt themselves), because they played the game. I'm not being angry at the kids themselves, I'm angry at the game designers for not giving people warning. I hate to see people pay money to do these kind of things and not enjoy it, and end up wasting there money (but its nice to see that some of them are still dedicated to their martial art).

Hating your training, it's just not right. Some people really aren't cut out for it.
