I've watched some of the AVGN's reviews, he's pretty good, I don't like him as much as Yahtzee but he's unique at least.

Not to mention, the Nerd has been more creative in his last few videos, such as the glitch video, and the retrospect for the Swordquest series.

I really enjoyed this one. It was the nerd Talking about glitches in older games for half the 16 minute video. A lot of interesting stuff for those of us who didn't grow up with such games. The Glitch Gremlin was moderately entertaining too.

Here's an interesting topic. When you think of new AVGN videos, would you rather see him nitpick another obscure game, or would you rather watch him be a well-informed angry video game nerd talking about stuff that bothers him in multiple games of that generation? Both have a potential to be equally funny, but we don't see the latter often. But as one of the newer gamers in this world, I kind of like it when one of my "elders" talks about his generation.

If I had a Grandpa, I would have loved to hear him talk about what his life was like.

So, yeah. AVGN hasn't made anything in a while. Good to see him back.
