4.07 / 5.00 10,082 ViewsWhenever I try to play a game that requires key movement(left, right, up down arrow keys) the game reads as me already holding keys down, so my character will be running right, or constantly jumping, without me doing anything, I have googled this many times, and I can't find any solution and it's really getting on my nerves.
Any suggestions?
Try pressing insert on your keyboard.. May not work though
You might have stickykeys on. It's a retarded feature Microsoft includes with WIndows. You can disable it in Keyboard, in the Control Panel.
no I don't have sticky keys on and when I press insert nothing happens.
Uhhh, well it could be your keyboard. Have you tried another one?

I'm using Internet Explorer on a vista, and someone commented it may be dirt, but this only happens when I'm playing games, otherwise the only problem with my keyboard is that I have to press the tab key a little harder for it to work right, but whenever I'm typing or something, the arrow keys never go up, and I've noticed, it's not just the arrow keys, its all keys when I play games that do whatever.

That's a bit strange. You should probably ask a PC help forum about your problem. They're probably more helpful. If you go with Dell or HP, they have awesome service, so consider asking them as well.

k thx, and btw, I just put in a new keyboard, and I have played multiple games to test it out, and it still shows the same problem, I'm pretty sure it's safe to assume that the problem is the computer, as opposed to the keyboard itself.
Seeing all that fuss you did to change keyboards and the problem is still there, you should contact a person who is an expert on keyboards and a computer administrator to check the computer. Try running your computer's diagnostics; it may display the problem and say if it can repair the problem automatically or not.
