WIP. Any suggestions? And yes he's supposed to look dis-proportioned. He's supposed to be troll-ish.

I think the kneecap sticks out a bit much. Or maybe it's that the calf dips down too far before it meets the kneecap. Give him a thicker lower jaw that juts forward. And maybe some snaggly teeth. I like the way it's going though.

I recolored/textured my first submission NeGrogg the Troll. I spent way more time on it this time around. Better?

Better. The lighter elements (his tusks, spikes and bone on the club) get a little lost. The hair texture is a bit off. And I'd like to see you push the shading a little more. You don't have to. Wasn't sure if you were done or if you wanted feedback.

I probably won't ever say when it's good enough to be in. If that's what you're looking for. Hopefully it will push everyone not to settle. Maybe not. Keep working on your submissions. It's looking a lot better. The texture helped a lot. I don't mind people posting multiple WIP. Do whatever you need to do to make something you can be proud of. If you want feedback I will do my best give it.

I figured Lips could use some more face time, even though the character was originally made as a joke for the Battle Royal, I figured that it couldn't hurt to have it here as well :P

To be honest, I pulled every trick I had to get it to that level. I'll attempt to tweak it. I was looking for feedback not a "Am I in?' If I am, awesome. If I'm not I'll practice more. So that wasn't the issue. Just trying to put my best foot forward, so feedback is a definite needed. I'll have my third sub in soon.

Yeah shadows are encouraged. When I made that rule about adding stuff to the background. I just didn't want people tagging the walls with graffiti or adding elements that are superfluous to designing the boss. If your boss tunnels up from the ground and you want a pile of dirt around where he emerges or something like that I'll probably even be cool with it. If you think you're pushing it, ask me if it's ok first and I'll get back asap.
