goto guy sounds okay, i dont mind if you ask for help. but also i highly recomend that you check out the newgrounds tutorials section because that may help you a lot. also vexagon has been my go to guy in the past and is teaching actionscript for money so you could try him.

Many of you think your the real deal. Some of you may be right. But it does not matter. It will never matter. Because I am much more...

Also the book "AS2 cookbook" by colin mook will teach you more and MUCH better coding practices than 80% of the people that reply saying theyll be your go to guy

I find Flash 8 Bible to be very helpful. It was $5 on Amazon last I checked for one listed as excellent condition. There is also Flash 8 Actionscript Bible.

I don't have cash, and I learn better when someone tells me what things do/how to do it. And I do look at their SOLO work so I know they know what they are talking about. xD

Thanks guys O.o

This is funny. I ask for help on a specific topic regarding AS2 here in the Flash forum and even try to figure it out myself before posting a new topic, and he just asks for an Actionscript 'Mentor' and gets one.

I'm not saying he doesn't deserve one or that I dislike him, I'm just annoyed at how its a little ironic. Anywho, if you happen to be feeling helpful, check out this and let me know if you can help.

I like to of the forums as a "goto guy" which is cool because my goto guy has the collective knowledge of hundreds of experienced coders from all over the world.

Or maybe the collective knowledge of hundreds of inexperienced over-opinionated teenagers from all over the world and a handful of experienced coders heehee
