Does anyone know how I would go about obtaining one of these? They are technically illegal to buy, so it seems like it might be a challenge. How should I go about getting myself a butterfly knife?

Well it's not illegal to buy, as long as your buying from a trusted manufacturer. They are legal to own and keep in your home, but most places don't allow you to carry it in public.
