Guns are meant for safety reasons, and people use them wrongly to hurt other people.

Most of them are supposed to be used for self defense, although I'm not sure how many are.

And then you have the little teenage COD fanatics buying air-soft guns
which is twice as retarded because you're wasting your money on a plastic toy that serves no purpose other than looking like a real gun

It shoots pellets that could be used in a real life situation with a real life gun... just target practice having fun.. also paintball.

What's gonna happen? Criminals stop getting guns and the self-defenders starting to use pepper spray or knives for self defense ALL THE TIME? I might be biased because I for one shoot at gun ranges regularly, but then again who isn't biased? I disagree with most of what you say anyway.
