Oh, I forgot to mention, it's the complete opposite. Lift heavier do less reps. Lifting lower weight and more reps will get you toned up.

My max is 325, one time, I can do 3 sets of 5 reps with 150, but im dead after that. I have no stamina.
This friday did 285 lbs 8 times, fixed my form and been seeing steady increases lately :)
I haven't maxed out in a little while, but last time I did I was at 135. I am in a weight training class, but I am a little lazy sometimes.

Right now I can bench about 140 which is my weight.
Doing any kind of push-up is also incredibly easy.

I maxed out at 290 today. I'm going to get into that 300 club by the end of the school year.
I maxed 340 about six months ago. That was back when my 3-rep was about 295. A couple weeks ago my 3-rep was 315. So, I'm assuming that at the very least, I'd be able to do 360 at this point.
I actually have a vid of me doing 340 on facebook. My buddy recorded it b/c he thought it was amazing. IMO, it was okay.

I'm trying to hit 350 by the end of next year, but I think my workout routine is putting way too much stress on my arms.

I've never done a one-rep max, or used a bar to do my benches.
I go to the gym fairly frequently and since I was in a bit of a building phase I started upping my weights a little compared to what I usually do during the rest of the school year.
I guess I peaked at around 3 sets of 10 x 60 free weights in each hand for a flat bench.
Most of the time during the school year I can usually do 45-50 lbs in free weights.

I work-out on a 4-day split. Mon/Tues = Upper/Lower; Thurs/Fri = Upper/Lower; Wed/Sat = cardio/core. I wouldn't recommend working out the same muscle groups unless your post-workout consists of a high-quality creatine (CellTech for example), a really good protein, and are eating plentiful.
Creatine will give you monstrous gains. I was on CellTech for only two months, and I shot from 192 to 205... even got stretch marks now on my pecs/back b/c of the speed of lean muscle growth.
I'll can't say how much I can bench because the whole of NG would bust out laughing, but I will say that if you see a walking skeleton, that's probably me.

There's nothing funny about another persons limits. In fact admitting it just might be the first step you need to take in changing it. Don't be ashamed by what people will say, be ashamed of not doing anything about it.
If true OP definitely has a pair of balls... I don't usually max out but last night I did 450x5 on the smith machine bench press, including the 40 pound bar. I'd love to see a video of you benching that much and I'll give you major kudos
