I think there are some pretty amazing people in the audio portal here so I felt as though it would be good to post here. If anyone has any questions feel free to ask them on the FAQs topic on the site. You can ask questions here, but I don't always think to check the forums when I come to listen to music.
So all you get is to be featured on a free mixtape by some people I've never heard of? Lame...
So you posted this before, and nobody responded. And based on that information you felt that you just had to create a new thread with the same information? Please tell me the logic behind that?
Also, the fact that you have to become a member of their site to participate will probably turn off nearly everyone here.

No, and that's a pretty big deal for me to not want to join the contest.

:Hey, man, exposure's exposure.
I mean, I've never heard of the guy, either, but work is work, right? Even if you don't get paid, you keep busy and hone your skills. I'm just sayin'.
Unfortunately, I have no musical talent, so I can't partake in said collab.
I do know a turntablist, though, maybe I could recommend him to this. He's worked with The Grammar Club, MC Frontalot, and YT Cracker.
If you're offended, it's your fault
I do LPs! As if you wanted more of me after that SICK BURN

Dude, Talib Kweli is REALLY big in the hiphop scene, like P Diddy big.

He's a pretty original guy too. beena round for a LONG ass time in the hiphop scene. I wouldn't say he's "P diddy big" like the previous poster, but he's pretty well known and if you havn't heard of him youre probably someone who has his head up Lil Wayne's ass.

Not heard of Talib Kweli? I'm not exactly surprised, but still fairly appalled. Talib Kweli is one of the best lyricists and rappers out there, and he's been around for a long time. He's never exactly gone "mainstream", which is one of the reasons he's stayed so true and successful all these years he's been in the game.

As I said. I also neglected to put the entire rules list in and for want of an edit button. All I put in was the first bit of information without much to go on, also I believe more than a week had passed.
There is no longer any age limit
After getting a lot of responses from his younger fans he decided to relax the age limit so minors can now compete.
And yes, this was mostly going out to the people who are interested in hiphop, but Kweli isn't discriminating in who he collaborates with.
As for how well known he is, this contest was mostly conceived because of the amount of mail he receives by people wanting him to listen to their work, or to consider them for his record label.
