I like the game, but there's a few things that I hate about it. Copy pasted from another post I made.

1)Knife: Okay, everytime I get knifed in this game after shooting 4+ bullets in the face of someone, I always think: "I sincerely hope this kid actually joins the army and tries knifing people, and gets shot and realizes real guns don't just shoot red jelly." This is just so unrealistic it frustrates me more and more everytime I get knifed. I mean, you get knifed in the arm and you die? You get knifed in the foot and you die? Instantly? Like that? I can understand the throat... but that's about it, since you don't even stab (unless you have tactical knife attachment) people, you just slice them a bit. Like a little cut. Who the fuck would die because of that? Hemophiliacs? Whatever... I still believe no one should be able to receive 1+ bullets and still kill you with a knife, and get away with only red jelly in the screen for a few seconds. Same thing with the throwing knife. The magical "it'll one shot you" throwing knife.

2)Red jelly. I mean really? Guns shoot red cherry jelly and everyone is allergic to red cherry jelly or what?

3)Sniper breathing. I guess in this game you're supposed to be a heavily trained soldier. But you breath like you just had five packs of smoke. Real people wouldn't fucking move that much. Maybe shake a little, but have your head bounce at every breath? Fuck that shit. I mean okay, in games like Counter-Strike or Halo, the sniper rifle was way overpowered as it was really easy to use. But in MW2 it's just ridiculous. Especially with a PS3 controller. It ain't as bad on PC I bet, with a mouse and all, but on console it's just horrible. And when you're prone you should at least have NO breathing issues, as your gun is safely laying on the ground.

4)Silencer range. Silencers are really fucking good. Especially in FFA or Hardcore mode. But when it comes to killing someone that's far away... your bullets disappear or what? I don't think I really need to add much more to it but yeah. It's freaking retarded. Silencer already uses a gun attachment slot. I don't see why there should be any other defaults about it.

5)Mounted rifle grenades not exploding. I shoot a grenade out of my gun. It hits the ground. It doesn't explode. Is it like... an idiot proof grenade that doesn't allow the nade to explode if it's anywhere close to you? I mean in lots of occasions, I would've had one, two, three or more kills with a grenade that decided not to explode. Also, when you receive a grenade directly on you, it doesn't explode. That kind of makes sense, if it hits your chest or your head... you can hit the foot or the hands and it'll still kill the person, without exploding. ????

6)Chopper gunner. I wonder who thought that one out. I mean, it's fun to use and all, but it's just a little overpowered. Let's say it's hard to take time to aim a rocket at it before you get killed by it.

7)Cold Blooded and Ninja perks: You... are invisible on radar because your corpse is at the temperature of a cadaver and you don't appear on heartbeat sensors because you're a ninja? I guess that makes you dead. Is this a zombie game now?

8)Care packages: It should always give Resupply AND a random killstreak reward. Not one or the other, BOTH. Most of the time when you get a care package you usually need resupply anyways.

9)No teamplay. AT ALL. There's no teamplay in this game. Its lack of cooperation makes your teammates more annoying than anything. Usually you want to stay far from your teammates because they'll either steal your kill or give the enemy a double kill. The only way to use your teammates in your advantage is to let them go in front of you and die so you can spot the camper.

10)Killstreak rewards promotes camping. Nuff said.

11)Dual shotguns. What? Is this terminator or something?

12)Maybe 4 maps that are fun to play. The rest are god awful. There should be an option that lets you only play the maps you want, and auto-skip every game that has the maps you don't like. There should also be games dedicated to only one map. Like Rust :)

13)The Brazilian Guerrilla. They look like douchebags and probably wouldn't stand more than a few minutes against an actual armed force. Also they probably don't have tactical nukes, helicopters, harriers, predator missiles, UAVs, EMPs, airstrikes, etc.

I just refuse to buy it. Every time I've played it i though it was boring and no fun.

Nobody needs any skill to get lots of kills online in the game. Just get 10 kills with a weapon and you unlock the grenade launcher attachment. An easy 1-shot kill. No skill whatsoever.

Thermal scopes, too. Unless you have cold-blooded on, you're easy pickings for a sniper with thermal and stopping power.

Forgot to add the awful storyline. the game is fun. the campaign sucks. In one of the early missions, you assist in a massacre of a Russian International Airport. And you work for CIA. If they heard of that, instant burn. And in one of the cut scenes, it appeared that you were viewing your party torturing someone. Not only is torturing just plain-out wrong, it's also inefficient. It's like what Hawkins from "Jericho" said: "Torture gets you lies. Fear of torture gets you information." Something along those lines, anyways. Also, the Russians just launching a massive attack on America? World in Conflict's explanation for insertion was much better!

Love the campaign. I won't lie, it was fun, heart racing, and very different to other games I've played. (Then again, I haven't played that many army styled FPSs).

Multiplayer? No. It's simply the better players get the better weapons therefore helping them be better than everyone else. Not to mention the numerous glitches and what have you, as well as the fact that the only way to win is to camp in certain areas not known to MW2 noobs like me.

Oh, and 13 year old boys on PSN and Xbox Live.

In fact, it's really good. Even better than Halo.

Still, it's not as good as Half-Life 2.

I don't hate it, it's just that EVERYONE thinks the PS3 is SOOOOOO much better than the Wii ALL because of that game. A lot of people may think the PS3 is better than the Wii, but for MW2 only, than they are fucked up.

Because it was developed by Infinity Ward. It would be better if it was developed by Treyarch. Or whatever they are called. Glitches, LAGGGGG, annoying 9 year olds with their squeaky voices.

The sheer number of cheating bastards.

It can make the game hard to play when there are so many people taking advantage of glitches and exploits and Infinity Ward isn't fast enough to fix them all.

You guys are treating this game too seriously, as if this is how real combat works.

MW2 wouldn't get any less realistic if you started adding in laser guns, dragons, magic spells, and time machines. Honestly, its not hard to see why real military soldiers just scoff at this game. Real soldiers would never fight like this.

The game is shit. End of story.

That's all well and good, except that nobody asked for realism.

i fuit a little disapointing that infinity ward took so little time to construct a more extensive storyline and yes, everyone that it was cool when soap pulled a knife out of his chest and threw into the real bad-guys eye but, as cool an ending that was it didn't explain what happend to makarov and soap so they left open for a third game wich might not get developed thanks to a pointless legal suite.
i love cod games MW2 could have been so much more if infinity ward hadn't been so greedy and pushed it out that fast and co-op was cool but co-op story wouldve been better than just short missions
so I guess i didn't hate but its not one of my faves.

I don't hate it, it was a good game. My biggest beef with it is how much you have to grind to get unlocks. I'm all for getting things as you level up, but I mean some of the things you had to do were just to demanding.

I think games like this should include some sort of separate mode that has everything unlocked and you can just play.

I enjoyed the campaign the and Special Ops missions were fun until I got all 69 stars or whatever. I haven't played it since. It's not a bad game, but just not something I'll play constantly.

I hated it because the killstreaks were too big and spammed like crazy. The knife perk was annoying to since they could knife you from 10 feet away. That why I love Black Ops, the two things I hated about MW2 they fixed plus it has zombies.

I really like MW2, always have done, there's something about the gameplay, awesome fun.

Because of it's community.

A bunch of arrogant teenagers SHOUTING into their mics and calling everyone a hacker. Not to mention it's a very unbalanced game.

The story isn't very good either. It was OK, but nothing special.

But the one thing I hate about it the most, is due to it's popularity, it has caused a whole market of unoriginal shooters using VERY similar gameplay mechanics.

Because it's pointless, seek and shoot, repeat. Even one hand clapping makes more sense than this game.

because it's literally turned into a game of who sees who first. there is little to no strategy or teamwork involved anymore, its simply seeing who can shoot who first. also the grenade launcher pretty much kills any match your playing in if someone is using it for every. single. kill they get.

its crap and nobody cares about call of duty anymore

probably cause of the frustration during online gameplay and maybe cause many people hate overrated mainstream FPS.

I'm not one of those people so don't even start.
