Oh, it's been brought up about whether people can do the same ages as other people.
Feel free to do any period you want, even if someone else has already done it.
I'm sure there's many things you could do for any single period.

Same applies for characters; if you want to draw Pico, draw Pico!

I fixed my computer so it's all good. I'll probably download flash and photoshop tomorrow and get to working then.

What don't you like about your pic? I think that might help with what critique you're looking for.

At the moment, you've got a great idea, and I reckon you could get the fn factor in there, but I'm not sure if the remaining content is going to exciting, and it lacks the dynamicism your Super Zeroes pic had.

I cant really pinpoint what i dont like about it, i agree that it doesnt fell very dynamic and i think i have too much blank space. Im just gonna scrap this one and start again later. i'll try and build on some solid foundations..

NG doesn't have claim to it, but as a rule of thumb, if the Flash is presented by Newgrounds, it's allowable for the contest. It also helps that Meatboy isn't an obscure, unheard of character.

If anybody else has any doubts, feel free to shout them out here in this thread.

If I weren't a judge, I'd say something like...

There's too much scenery, not enough penicorn. Change it so it's a vert pic and focus more on the subject. Add wooden wheels... that and the gate with a of the stone wall should still make it obvious!
