Now he no longer wastes my valuable time with sending error reports, he does one better and "searches for a solution to my problems" which he inevitably fails to find.

BUT THANKS FOR TRYING OLD CHAP, THANKS FOR TRYING.
Next time my programs freeze, I'll know you did you best to pretend to care!

I don't know what's worse, that I still have XP or that I don't have Windows 7 yet.

Also I have Vista on my other computer but we all know that's uber shit.

There's no bandwagon for complaining.

You may bitch and moan about Windows 7 Pox, but at the end of the day, is it any worse than anything Mac has to offer?

I swear that actually worked once for me, but every other time is "close the program lol."

The error reports got sent to /dev/null.

I know that's UNIX, I don't care.

I dont even.

It's actually worked a few times for me, but it only searches for simple solutions which usually smooth themselves out.

I'm no techie, and I haven\t ever contributed to an open source program or such like, thus my opinion is probably invalid for most of you guys. But I love my mac.

It works, it does everything I want it to, and easily. Video editing software is great, iWeb is pretty great and Garage Band is easy to use. I've experienced no complete freezes, although a few programs have frozen sometimes, since I got it. I don't really worry about viruses anymore and time machine automatically backs everything up for me. So basically, it does almost all the hard work for me.

I don't dislike windows, but I prefer mac. The last windows os I used was xp. At the time it was fine, just a little bit glitchy sometimes and sort of hard work on others. But now that i've gone mac, I could see myself having being a little bit sad if I had to switch back.

I was in a computer store a little while ago and they had some windows 7 machines running, I had a little look at them. I didn't really use it enough to get any real experience, but first impression was that it wasn't as simple as xp.

On one last note, maybe the reason I like my mac so much is because i'm probably a pretty true representation of their target market. I do photography (iPhoto) I film reviews for YouTube (iMovie) I have a website (iWeb) I'm not a big techie, I just want something that will get the job done, minimum hassle.

(now i'm gonna enter the time machine to retrive a photo of my dog I took for a thread yesterday and then promptly deleted, so I can post it in the dog thread)

nobody goes there anymore. its too popular.
