Buses = Bad Neighborhoods on Wheels

I really hate public transport. Public transport is a liberal invention to control the masses by allowing the government to say where and when people can travel under the guise of "environmental safety" or some shit like that. Probably the worst part of it though is the huge number of low castes one is forced into sharing space with on public transport, buses especially. I have only been on one bus, and that was today and I shall never ride again, the sheer amount of filthy, drug addled paupers sitting near me made me wretch. I swear to Science, if it were up to me, everyone who goes on public buses and has an income of less than $60,000 per year or is a criminal should be immediately executed. It is blatantly unfair that a superior High Born such as I must be forced to sit next to thugs, gang members, drug pushers, the disabled, and the genetically inferior whenever I decide to step on public transport. It is simply disgusting.

Any thoughts, especially ones from the liberals who authorized such a wicked system of oppression for those who deserve their higher status?

Really? Usually I sit next to a kind elderly person. What city do you live in? Oakland? Buses are actually a great way to get around without a cab or car.

Public transport is a wonderful thing when it's planned and built well, certain areas have great bus systems, subways, light rail, etc... And it service sucks some places.

We just got light rail not too long ago in the Phoenix metro area and it's awesome, can't wait until it's extended further. The Phoenix metro bus system is horrible though, always late, routes are inconvenient, etc... The only thing the buses have going for them is the A/C is usually ice cold (it's a godsend on the 100+ degree days). I just can't wait for the days when public transport is more convenient than the car, or when cars drive themselves.

You sound like you're a spoiled fuck. Not everybody can get a job to earn $60,000 or more a year, and the only filthy people are the homeless. The disabled, elderly, and regular people are not inferior, they're the same as you. If you want to be in a clean, safe environment, drive a fucking car or walk your ass to places. If you can't/don't want to do either, ride the possibly filthy bus that has a bum on it.

If buses weren't around I'd have to get a car, and pay for petrol and everything. And I don't want to do that.

It really depends on what neighborhood/community the buses go to. I had some unplesant rides, and some nice ones aswell. I must say there are some pretty interesting people that you might run into that you normally wouldn't if you take the bus. Remember to always bring hand sanitizer and lysol on the trip !

I've been on the busses and trains every now and then, I don't see whats wrong with them

now being DEPENDENT on them, some people can just drive instead, my mom takes the metro to work because she works in LA and there's barely any parking for her to find

me, sometimes I feel too lazy to walk to school so I'll take the bus

in my experience the metro can be a little dirty, but ride a bus thats actually from a city (like long beach) they're actually cleaner and have less people
