Dean: Rorys parents didn't give him dancing lessons. That much is obvious.

I'm not sure exactly what it is you've done... but I'm certian it was the wrong choice. All I now is you lied so you could play your sport, and appearantly your father could cancel the sport... so I assume you lied to him about doing drugs, vandalism or cross dressing or whatever. But eventually he'll find out the truth and you'll be in trouble anyway.

Should of told the truth boy.

i do fencing and he asked me to check my weapon to see if it worked (cuz i just recently fixed it and didn't have the chance to test it cuz my testing equipment was broken). I forgot to check it until he came to pick me up. He asked me if I checked my weapon and i stuttered so he didn't know if i did or did not. Then i quickly rushed and checked to see if my equipment was working. All of them worked but he didn't see me check it cuz someone was talking to him. I went up to him and he said that I checked it. He said okay but im not sure whether he thinks that I did it before he came or i did it when he came. He gave me a 3 hour lecture yesterday on whether i like the sport or not because he thought that i didn't like it and that it also cost a lot of money. So if i didn't check before he came then he might have canceled fencing which I have been doing for 3 years. He didn't give me a hard time though after i told him that i checked it. Does that clear things up a bit?

Yup, sounds like you're a rich kid who probably wants for nothing and has no real problems in there life so even the tiniest most insignificant bullshit gets blown out of preportion.

Did anyone die? If not than it's not really that much of a problem in my book. Forget about it Sidartha and go back to your life of previledge.

After him actually explaining the situation without it making sense AGAIN, then someone definately did set us up the bomb.

Seems to me not that bad, you came into a kindly situation, the worst thing that can happen is that you die, so shut the fuck up and tell yourself you did the right thing ;)

Of course I didnt read his explanation :p

Pole dancing.

He explains it a few posts up, it's fencing and his dad pays for the lessons. But he broke a fencing sword, thinks it was his fualt becuase he didn't make sure it was in prestine condition.

Hey! Guys can pole dance too. It's a modern world and men can do whatever they want.

Are you asking whether I think it's all right? I would try to remain truthful as much as possible. Yes lie when you feel there's a need for it. The problem with lying though is that people may not trust you. Try telling the truth even if you get caught for lying sometimes.

There is nothing wrong with lying as long as you get away with it.

I was just making a joke. I even followed it up with explaining that the real sport was fencing. Got a problem with a little humor?
