I have a tread, there's an example there. It's been awhile since I took this seriously, as I like to experiment. But Kinsei and Ashman (amoung others) have encouraged me to take a more tried and true approach.

oh, damn. It only looks sloppy because you're doing it by hand and it's sketchy.
I use the pen tool which makes everything smooth and quick ^_^

Might I make a suggestion? Her right art still looks off because of how thick it is at the top towards her sleeve. Adding a line in there to make it thinner fixes it.

her left arm still looks wonky to me but I'm going to leave it alone until after I get some sleep so I can look at it again with fresh eyes.

I hate blue an dorange...but I wanted to mix it. Might make the orange red and the blue black, but it's stereotypical for this character :\ not sure what to do. Might make a decision in the morning :D

Is the line really too thick? or are the other lines just too thin....
Lines in flash are annoying but you learn how to do them better once you've done it heaps.

I think that line you added needs to be rotated counter-clockwise a bit more. If you continue that line it cuts about the middle of her forearm when it should really line up with the edge/point/end of her elbow.

Pen Tool's too tedious for me, I just keep doing quick slashes and hope for the best. I get there eventually.

can we get a tutorial on how you do your lines, i think i know how but it would help a lot of people, like do an inprogress shot, recording or a livestream to show how

whenever i do lines i just use a small brush with quick strokes

it's like when I was suicidal last year...it comes and goes. As long as you have good friends helping you through it you can overcome the episodes pretty painlessly. It's still hard to go through it :( but I'm hoping this will make her feel better :D
